Ryan Paris - Dolce Vita - Synthesizer Recreation
Музыка
I've always loved the synths in 'Dolce Vita' by Ryan Paris. This is my take on it using the Moog Multimoog, Oberheim OB8, Prophet 5, Roland Juno 6, Jupiter 4 and Arp Odyssey. 🎹🇮🇹🎹

SUCHHHHHHHHH a great song! It oozes happy & good times
this is one of those timeless 80s classics that transports me back to long hot summers, tinged with sadness, along with FR David's " Words"
Man you have really nailed this. I wouldn't have known it was a cover at all. Apart from the vocal missing. Fab stuff.
One of my fav Italo hits. Always loved that high melody and you got it just right with the P5 there. 👌🏻

Nice!
0:40 magic!
One of the best tunes from the early 80’s
I was three years old when this was released in '83 of course here in the 🇵🇭 and one of my favorite Italo disco songs that's why the 80's will always be the best decade ever as far as music goes 💽🎧🎵
Just slightly better than the original :)

My favourite song, love it
Love it.
Perfectly executed. A lot of work, to recreate those sounds, e.g. the Prophet was perfect.
Awesome Recreation....and 0:41 Dolce Synth Sounds comes : ARP Odyssey 😍 the perfect Lead SYNTH 👍
Nailed it
Top 👍👍👍
Fantastic!
I'm so happy, each time you post. So much synth history in this room.
In modern quality and volume it sounds fantastic. I cry with happiness, my old dream has come true today. Thank you very much again:-))

Why do you ask other remakers if your dream has come true already? You are not even making sense, you asked my friends a lot like Igor Benedyk, Cyclone, The players and etc and etc. Please stop doing it, or just ask Luke for full remake and then stop bothering us with that shit. Ok? you added my friend Igor in the vk I hope you will won't beg him for that shit.

Moog's bass, DMX drums, effect from OB-8 is 1:1 copy, just like I wanted and asked you, thanks a lot:-)) Just forgot to insert the effect of strings-violins, into the chorus. Apparently it was very difficult to find the right sound, none of those creating the remake/rebuild of this track, has yet been able to pick it up exactly, it is somehow very complex in sound.
@lukemillionmusic

There is synth brass and piano in the chorus, but I only have 2 hands and couldn't play all the parts 😂
@BboySalamon
2 жыл бұрын
@@lukemillionmusic Exactly! Brass and electronic violin strings, in the chorus (sounds like Solina strings). Yes, with acoustic piano parts, in many places of the track. Anyway, it is your author vision, I guess. But now I know, whom to ask, to give order for 1:1 Dolce Vita instrumental 1983. You showed, that you can make it, on 100%, here.👌

Why do you ask others if you get the 1:1 copy already? huh?! Stop asking my friends.
Ciao Luke, your plays are always so cool! Can you tell us a little more about the Multimoog patch that you are using? Can you post it? 🙏🙏🙏
well it works for me 5 stars .🎹
i love you are a boss
In this version of this song, the Oberheim DMX sounds were heard.
Please make this one Muriel Dacq - Tropique i love your work
Hey Luke, think you could do a Kano track some time? Another Life would be awesome to hear!
What a pitty that's all. It was very good.
I would love to use this sample if I was a rap artist.

ngl if kanye did that in his old music it would of popped off
I wonder if the original hi melody bit was put through some huge compression, there is something unique about the way it sounds. what do you think? The production of the original I thought was very good, so much space and feeling to it.
@celestinocamicia

If you're talking about the high-pitched, plucked synth riff, a distinctive feature of the Oberheim OBX is used there: the ability to pan each voice of polyphony. That's why it goes back and forth in the stereo panorama.
Hii Luke, where do get the bell like sound from please? Thanks!
Superb spot on recreation which I’ve listened to about 30 times. I love all your covers but why out of interest do you not cover the whole track? Is it a copyright thing?
Shame italo disco is not as popular as then in the 80s
@BboySalamon

That's why they need to be replayed in the same way, on the original equipment from these songs, in modern quality and loudness, as here. Many people will be able to refresh their romantic, beautiful Italo memories, as it was then, and those who have never heard will be able to immediately hear in high quality. Hits like this are eternal:-)

Agree. But some artist still doing Italo/Spacesynth/Eurodisco tracks. Just search them here, on KZread and other platforms. I have some rebuilds of that famous hits of 1980's. My friends Alex Djuzhen and CJ Cyclone are working in this direction. This is eternal music.

Hello Mr. Million! Can you tell, please: what't the name of the OB-8's fon effect, that starts here on 0:15? And how to find it, on original "hard " OB-8 and OP-X Pro plugin, if possible🙏 Will be very grateful.
Do a vocal with it …would be amazing
Hello Mr. Million! Welldone. How do you hear and guess the correct initial effects, background sounds in songs? After all, many tracks from the 1980s have a strong reverb and echo of a large hall.

Sometimes I listen to the left and right channel of a track individually which can help hear certain sounds better. Otherwise it’s just lots of close listening!

Oberheim DX, which is controlled from a modern controller, I think. In the original composition of Dolce Vita 1983 uses almost the same drummachine, Oberheim DMX.
