    @@RedForLife68 He’s a mid-tier fighter. He just turns his back when BJ rushes in. Other fighters would KO him out. People don’t dodge him because he’s such a good fighter, they do it because if he happens to catch them, they could be seriously injured.

  • @CarlG84mm

    @CarlG84mm

    3 жыл бұрын

    The problem is even more than other fighters dodging him. Nobody ranked above Hall wants to fight him because there’s a solid chance that they might not win (and get caught in a heel hook with the risk of long term injury), and even if they do win they’ll just have defeated an already fairly low ranked fighter. Hall himself has stated that he’s tired of fighting people ranked below him and wants a challenge, so continuing to fight low ranked fighters isn’t an option. The UFC has no incentive to try and find Hall a fight because Hall, for all his talents as a grappler, is just not a very popular fighter. There’s no reason for the UFC to find him fights because he won’t get them views/PPV buys. This is the quagmire that Hall is stuck in. He can’t find fights because it’s not in anybody else’s best interests.

    It really is amazing that in the fight game there are legitimately types too dangerous to fight. Ryan Hall *is that type*. I have never seen Heel Hooks cinched so fast and so tight, the man can tear tendons in seconds. A truly terrifying move, done terrifyingly well. It may be non-sporting to turn down a fight to extend your career, admitting the risk/reward was much too high, but all the same just think about how crazy that sentence really is. It sucks that Hall's career has been stymied because of this, but I really hope to see more of him, truly a *Wizard*.
