I really hope Ryan watches this fight back and learns from it. He’s got a lot of potential.

Ryan needs to learn how to relax. At times of the fight he gets too anxious. The moving around the running away from the opponent. You would think that he’s hurt the way he moves around so much. He deviates from his game plan too often. Believe in yourself kid!

Garcia's young enough, he should go train at Lomenchenko's camp. Get better footwork, and angles. He always has a puncher's chance, but that defense, foot work and even offense was terrible for most of the fight.

Idk why but my take from him is that he usually gets jittery throughout the fight idk lmao, could be the excessive adrenaline that he can’t control/suppress which makes him look like a “flinch” type of fighter. I don’t think he’s met someone that can counter him with a flinch. But tbh I’m not quite confident in what I’m saying, so it’s just a guess 💀

He shouldn't get lomachenko's footwork, it is way too risky, close to the punches. Lomachenko has amazing agillity made from his dad's lab since he's a kid. Ryan is taller and hits from afar he should learn defense more than evasive skills. Look at what happened when Wilder tried to learn boxing at 37. Ryan should learn to fight on the backfoot, and defense. Shoulder roll wasn't a bad call but he massacred it.

I was about to say the same thing. Garcia is not an elite lightweight. He was far from convincing in this fight, and as you, and the commentators pointed out, he was bending to the right and beyond 90 degrees to his opponent. The referee should have put a stop to that early in the fight, but he let it continue.

Standing ovation for Oscar! He fought hard and mounted immense pressure on Ryan to the point of Ryan displaying his back most of the time under the guise of "defence tactic". I wish Oscar's legs hadn't failed him. Overall, a spectacular fight! Both fighters are conditioned.

he should have slid across to the side of his back and throw left hook if ryan pivots if not keep circling which would either cause ryan to essentially run with back towards opponent, or fully turn around both of which are violations
