Brother, I see many mechanics hit the crank weight plates with a hammer to install it. It will ruin the crank and make it imbalanced, right?

Some mech use round pipe and hammer to install, that won't affect much. Direct hammer will affect crank and bearing too. But both are not recommended. Company recommended the crank installation tool. That we give better smooth in crank bearing.

You can get this Nut and Bolt shop, as well hardware tools for automobiles shop have it.
