Us rx7 guys run master cylinders and boosters from either a turbo 2 or an old 626 when doing 4 piston swaps or big brake stuff because they have a larger bore and are a direct swap.

Bigger brakes like the mustang brakes definitely require a larger master cylinder. Larger pistons in the caliper require more fluid to move the same distance. Otherwise they will always feel spongy.

Turbo 2 or 626 master is bigger & a direct swap.

I ran into a very similar problem with the brakes. You need a master cylinder that moves more volume. I had to go with a strange large bore master, problem solved. There's a video on my channel explaining it also. Thanks for the good content.

My best guess is that it's from condensation coming from the intercooler. your bov is right there especially if that was the first time you got to up in boost hard. I know there's been times where my car has been shut off during the heat of the day and then fired up first thing in the morning... let it warm up for a minute or two and then rev'ed it up and it'll blow a Mist when the law valve opens.

It looks like condensation from the bov Hot air into cold aluminum will give some water until its warm. Thats my 2 cents

No point guessing about brakes.. Hydraulics is pretty much just maths. Find someone who knows how to calculate the optimal bore size for your setup and then go shopping for that.

  • @20b3rotordream

Definitely go with a manual brake setup and with the added brake size you need a bigger bore master to compensate for more line composite. Just my 2 cents.

Depending on what you find is wrong with the brakes, realistically if you have all mustang stuff doesn't entirely mean you have to upgrade your master too. I've seen some oddball combos work and other ones that seem like they'd be ok, aren't. See what's up with your brake issue and if you dont care to spend a few bucks on that then do it. Only if its going to fix it 🤙
