As a fan of the show, all I can say is give it a shot. Start off with the trailers, then the show, as the trailers introduce each main character and their weapon in a sick stylized action sequence. If you like fight choreography and creative weaponry(I mean, the true main character uses a sniper rifle-scythe for christ sake), then youll probably enjoy it. The animation quality is a bit choppy early on for slow scenes but everything improves exponentially as the show goes on. Another plus side is that each season is comparatively a lot shorter than a regular anime season, running about 2-2 1/2 hours per season, so they are quick and easy to get through.

Looking back at this it was cool but now there is no updates and nothing to look forward to once everyone is lvl 10. I waited and waited and nothing. They should of done expansions or even updates that added in other teams like: SSSN, CRME, CFVY,STRQ,ABRN,FNKI and more. Like I get the villains may be hard but seriously so much wasted potential. And they could even do maps based on different parts of remnant. Like Atlas and Menagerie where your mission was to protect the island for Menagerie and as for atlas? The whole fight scene in the streets of mistral could easily of been done.

Faint366 I want to see Team STRQ too, but now would be too early. They haven't done a STRQ arc (Or should I say... ST-arc?) I'd want to see that before the gameplay is released, because A) we don't know what Summer and Taiyang's weapons are at this point, but I have a feeling they're also guns and B) We need dialogue for each character, and Summer's, well dead in the present. But that's just my perspective.

I think this game gives good foreshadowing on what powers Jaune is going to have.

You know in hindsight, the overall fate of this game should’ve prolly acted as a clue for how the series as a whole would turn out.

If this game was more like say ninja gaiden or dmc 3 I'd be more willing to buy it. Their just doesn't seem to be enough enemies with decent A.I. I think i'll stick with berseria and nioh for now. With For honor as a possible runner up.

Trove has positive review and the game is burning dumpster fire. Anyways, the game is subpar at best, but if you really love RWBY, i would say go ahead. It's nothing great. Not FNAF fangame level of bad but for the money you could get something much better. So "garbage" is a bit harsh but, not the biggest overstatement.

BurritoTheGreat not that! It looks like the show. Why didn't they upscale or something but shade the models better, something. I'm not sure if the game is even good so I gotta find that out, still if the graphics are like that I expect a good game (features and gameplay outweighing the graphics that is) I expect a game with lots of depth and stuff if it's not going to look up to part with the ps4 standards. I wonder if it'll have tons of unlockables and stuff in it like weapons armour and other cool things like that. I may be wanting too much but the graphics can't explain the whole game. It's not like project diva x where all they did was improve graphics and ruin the gameplay by making us waste time on friendship and slimming the song list from 40 to 25 songs (only about 5 good ones btw)

How much is this game? I have long since stopped caring about RWBY's current narrative, but I loved the characters and settings that initially got me into the series. This game seems like a self contained story that focuses on that so I'm interested in getting it if it isn't too much. Also is the JNPR DLC something that comes free or is it extra?

For those who are interested, I'm a RWBY anime fan and player of this game (PC version). This game is nice, it does not have much content and for the most part, it MUST be played with 4 players for the most fun possible. It is a beat them all and a nice one, builds, 8 characters, nice story (although not canon) and very nice gameplay, if you have played TMNT in time, Street of Rage or such, you'll enjoy it. I just hope they won't ship ya 70€ or $ for this game as it worths 20 but if you get it for cheap, it really is nice.

I played this on steam like a year or two ago. I'll purchase it on PS4 and get the new dlc there too.

I want Sun and Neptune to also be playable characters as dlc.

About time. Was really disappointed when I found out that my computer couldn't play this game very well. I mean it looks good but compared to other games like Left 4 Dead and Alan Wake, both of which play completely fine on my computer this was pretty stupid that it couldn't be played.
