😂 Love the intro! 😂 Charlie needs more segments like this going forward 😂 Happy New Year Gang!
“Lord please bless me with some time together and I won’t ask for any more.” Now THATS a daydream to keep.
Marc, I can't believe you don't leave Caleb and Charlie in charge of next week's video. 😀
Everyone knows the disciples drove a Honda - "They were all with one Accord!"
Love the talking Charlie. My wife and I literally said, remember when he messed in the airstream, and then Charlie said it... We cracked up.
LOL, opening bit with Charlie was EPIC...LOL
I had a ‘74 MG Midget in college. My Dad owned a ‘69 MGB and a ‘56 MGA. These were fun cars. But having mechanical skills was a must. I’ll never forget the line about Lucas (manufactured all MG electronics)...”Lucas invented darkness”.
I can’t make a Ford joke, I love them too much. Lol
Moving around in an RV and renovating houses. now that's my daydream!
Fords have been in our lives for decades but went Ram this year. However, our most reliable car was a '57 MGA...broke down every two weeks.
The Charlie into was awesome. He should get more voice time.
More "Deep thoughts with Charlie" please!!!
Definitely need more conversation with Charlie. That was great’
You keep that MG dream Caleb! My first car was an MG - yes, it had a "difficult personality", but to this day (48 years later), not only do I remember it fondly, so do those who experienced it with me. Nothing like taking a summer drive, downshifting through a tunnel with the top down LOL.
😂😂 I see now that I’ve been reading Charlie’s mind correctly all this time 😂😂😂
If you liked HEB you'd love Central Market. It's like Disney World for foodies.
For being a native Texan I just loved seeing the parts of Texas. It was a hoot to listen to Charlie in the beginning. He is so cute. Wishing you all the best on your get a way. Looking forward to your next video and finding out what this year will bring. Thank you so much!
Would love to say I can watch old episodes during their week off, but I may have watched most already. And to think I got started watching a first timers video by them. But they did help me get my family out camping. So, cheers to you guys. Thank you for the help.
It's called taking inventory of each other, with me and Nancy it often leads to other wonderful musings that we cannot share on this forum. But go for it! What happens when nobody else is watching. You have put together a wonderful life and family it's wonderful to watch you guys....Walt
Marc: "Jesus was a GM guy. He walked everywhere." Trish... waiting for the lighting bolt... 🤣 I'd love to make a Ford joke, except they can't figure out why my Ranger's check light is still on... So I'm driving it anyway. Everything checks out, and it is road-worthy! 🙄 This was an excellent episode. So glad to hear Charlie's POV. Thanks so much for what you do!

Beautiful home. I love how it looks smaller, traditional from the front until you walk in and get blown away by all that space!
Today it became clear to me that Caleb got his unique sense of humor from Jeff

@Kieth Taylor I suspected Caleb got his sense of humor from the bargain bin at Goodwill. 😜 And you wonder why WC Fields never wanted to be on stage with kids or dogs.
I could not be happier with the opening this week 😂. Congrats!
Pull up KZread to watch my weekly KYD fix, only to find out that us ordinary subscribers have been blacked out. In lieu of the weekly Sunday upload a livestream for paying members (who received a special link) was broadcast instead. Feels like a definite kick in the face to the loyal KZread subscribers making up the vast majority of the channels base.

Charlie’s conversation was hilarious.
Went to Southwestern back in the late 80's - G'town has GROWN! I was there before Dell came into RoundRock, before SunCity, and all that development... crazy how much it has grown. Great little area back behind the university - the river park - and the town square...
I just finished driving through Texas via I-10 and olive oil and glass broke for sure and construction was a nightmare and I just had a horrible driving day through the remainder of Texas but watching this video made me feel a lot better that y’all experience this kind of stuff too. Thanks :)
Thank for giving us a heads up about no episode next week. These days when someone goes missing you think the worse.
As a person who has owned a dodge ford GM they all have great features and achilles’ heel .. have a awesome day and a blessed 2021 👍
I love the Father-In-Law salute every time you guys arrive!
Love when we get to see Trish's dad and stepmom. The layout of that house is awesome! Great video as always. Enjoy your trip 😊
My first car was a 1970 MGB and I loved it. It did not fair well when a 1972 GTO passed me in the middle of a left turn... he was going at least 65 at point of impact, per the highway patrol.
When you guys hit the big bump on the highway and the olive oil found it's way on the floor this reminded me about our big bump story. We hit a huge bump in the road with our new toy hauler and the microwave came off the wall mount and was hanging by a couple of bolts off the bottom of the cabinette. We had a bugger of a time getting it back on its mount..... but we managed! Enjoyed the video, thanks!
We haul our Lance 1985 with a 2017 Ford F-150 with zero issues. Love it.
Super-friendly (truly) tweak suggestion to the KYD55 page, which reads: "Those that have their health can have 1,000 dreams. Those that don't have only one." Consider changing it to "Those who have their health can have 1,000 dreams. Those who don't have only one."

Well your either headed to my neck of the woods or are already here. Now I just saw your map. I’ll wave in spirit as you drive by. Safe Travels!!
Marc that 5.7 is nice, I heard my daughter and her friend talking about how she can lay black marks with the 5.7 I have but the old 5.3 is harder to get good black marks from. Loved the Charlie bit. To late now but a little sprinkle of barn lime over the spilled oil and you can scrape it up with a plastic spatula. Also NONE of my trucks have ford bump steer. After 40 years they could have tried to fix it, I had it in the 1972 ford pickup I had, neighbor helped redo the front end and it was gone, the truck and the bump steer, sold it. Be safe.
Good to hear from Charlie and get the down low. Keep the rubber on the road. God bless.
So, I watched this episode again, as promised. Charlie does a monologue and I smile. And I keep smiling until the end surprises me just as it did last week. Hope you and Trish enjoyed your week! I appreciate the hard work you guys put into the weekly videos. Amazing!
OK, I've been watching you guys for a while. We camp several times during the summer with a hybrid trailer. I do however take offense (not seriously) to the comment about the MGB. I've owned a 1970 MG B for 18 years now. It's very reliable. We even drove it across the Northern U.S. route to the west to visit our daughter and family in Vancouver in 2018 (from Ottawa Ontario). We did a total of 10,600 miles in the MG that summer. If well maintained, they are very reliable. Enjoying your journeys, and pick up a lot of tips for our RV trips. Thanks for that. I hope your 2021 goes smoothly and you eventually make it to Nova Scotia. It is a very nice and picturesque province. All the best. Bill.
All of your videos are great, but this one was especially so. Loved it! Thanks for everything you put into these.
Beautiful scenic shots of Texas. Good luck to your folks on their renovations!
My sis lives about 25 min from the Blue Corn. HEB is one of our favorite things about wintering in the RGV instead of Vermont. (Ranks up there with avoiding the snow shoveling.)
Glad you got to enjoy our Georgetown. Blessings for your new year!
We loved hearing Charlie talk! More! More! Lol! We live in Texas and we LOVE H-E-B! My husband having had various brands of pickups (including Fords) has had CHEVY’s for his last 4. He loves his Chevy’s!

I miss the Hill Country- but it keeps changing so much! Absolutely the best brisket in the world! Safe travels.
Mark.... Thanks for this video. I am from Liberty, Texas, and most of my family now lives in Central Texas (New Braunfels/Canyon Lake). It was awesome seeing all of that familiar territory! Oh... on the compressor tank. A drain for the tank is great, but you MIGHT want to also consider putting an air drier inline on the air demand line. It will help prolong the life of all things using that air. Wet air eats stuff.... ALSO, consider once a year draining your tank completely and disco'ing the compressor (or turn it off) and then ADDING some sort of lubricating oil TO THE TANK. Then go riding around in a "sporty" manner to spread the oil around inside the tank.... Then come home, park, and open the drain and open the inlet line somehow to promote better draining. Let it drip/drain overnight. Reassemble, and be gold.... Lubrication choices I recommend: 1) HILCO Lube (hard to find, but worth the trouble to get and keep on-hand in bulk liquid, at least one aerosol can, and multiple pen oilers.... put a pen oiler in each vahicle, toolbox, house, et al. you might need it. Best penetrant/lube made IMHO. 2) Air Tool Oil
Hard to believe that I've been watching you weekly for FIVE years!!! Have a great time in your well deserved vaca!! I'll just bite my nails off next Sunday! 😁
Well that was waaaaaay to short 😩 I’m going to really miss you next week but happy you two are taking some time away for yourselves !!! Happy New Year!!!!
Caleb excited about his first car! Little tyke when I started watching... time flies. Have fun in Texas. You can always tell a Texan but you can't tell'em much.
My wife and I had a very similar incident. We stopped at our favorite deli we picked up the sammiches, the potato salad, and the Italian style macaroni salad. You know the one with salami, peas, carrots, cheese, noodles and yep you guessed it Italian dressing. (I probably missed a few ingredients) That was on a trip in June; it took 3 days of cleaning the floors with Dawn dish soap to make it walkable again. Mysteriously no matter how much we clean before and after every excursion we are still finding the occasional pea rolling around. We have to have gotten close to getting them all because that darn container wasn't big enough to hold all the ones we found so far by them selves. Thanks for all you do keep on trekking and keep on posting.
Towing our 30' TT with a Ram 2500, couldn't be happier. Go drive one Mark! Can't beat the Cummins, and rear coils are awesome in an HD truck. Your guys' channel inspired the whole adventure, so thank you for being so forthcoming with your adventures. If you end up near Utah and Hill AFB, give us a ring!
Just started watching, and had to stop and comment. OMG Charlie's intro is priceless!🐕
Ford family here, so no jokes from me. lol I loved this video, always fun seeing Trish's Dad, he is a hoot. Loved Charley "speaking" in the beginning, so dang cute. You guys have a great getaway!!!! Hugs, Brenda
MGB was my dream car in High School...40 years ago.
From my childhood. FORD -Found On Road Dead. DODGE- Dad’s Old Dodge Goes Everywhere. Currently a RAM family but have been a Ford family as well. Love the RAM
Great episode. Being from nearby Round Rock Tx I agree that Corn Harvest in Gtown is excellent. We were there a few weeks ago and the food is always excellent. HEB is all we shop at in central Tx. We just got a new F250 KR and want to get a ToyHauler to travel and play. Watching y’all’s videos for ideas.

No end to road construction in Texas. - Amen to that!!!!! We live in SE Texas.

Ready for some KYD 2021 adventures!
Hey guys HAVE A GREAT VACATION YOU CERTAINLY DESERVE IT 😎
Charlie needs more air time or maybe his own channel. Glad you got stay here in Little Rock at my favorite city rv spot.
Loved the scene with Caleb and $$ offering from hIs grandfather! Genuine gratitude is always charming.
You have to love the Texas Hill Country. We live in Houston and love visiting the area. Y’all are probably home by now so hope you had a good holiday and 🥂 to a Happy New Year.
I’m super excited y’all are getting away, I pray you have a wonderful time! I thought the KYD55 was a diet thing, soooo you’ve convinced me and I joined. Thanks Leach’s for doing this for all of us.

Caleb at 16:44 had me in tears! You all are such a fun family!
I've been driving for 35 years and I worked for a rental car company for several years so I've driven 1000's of cars. The only 2 that ever broke down and left me stranded were Chevys.

This episode was so much fun. I felt so happy the entire time my wife and I watched it!
Great video loved Charlie’s intro. The family and I went camping in Trenton Georgia for new year’s and met multiple families that watch KYD.
Yay! Texas! We're in Mission for the winter!
Welcome to Texas! Loved the intro with Charlie speaking. We just got back from a 600 mile camping trip to Gulf State Park in Alabama with 2 dogs one 12 and one 13 weeks. Every rest stop was us telling to dogs to take care of business. Lol. Enjoy the videos .
Great video post guys. I totally enjoyed this travel video. My family found it a little informative and at the same time they laughed at it several times. We noticed that both RV parks were by rivers, and that made our daughter want school to end, so we can go out in our RV. The kids told me to tell you, they loved the beginning with Charlie. Keep up the great work.....
Happy New Year! I love watching your videos and adventures each Sunday!
Please add a Charlie dialog regularly. Even short one-liners would be appreciated. Such a great addition! We love you guys!
I go to Wimberley every year. Pleasant Wimberley was my cousin.
Happy New Years! Haha love the voice over.... got me cracking up
You are down in our area. We live in Liberty Hill, TX. Awaiting our new ATC Toy Hauler and hitting the road in 2021.
We just picked up our new RV from Round rock Texas to San Francisco. We drove over 30 hrs non-stop, it was crazy.
I knew Charlie could talk! We enjoy your videos!!! Thank you!
Enjoy your couple’s getaway and God bless y’all 🙏✌️
Enjoy your week off! You guys deserve it! Lynn and Danny
Absolutely love Charlie’s commentary!! Please do this more often!! 🤣
All trucks are truly awesome and Charlie needs to open up more,I follow 15 RVers and you guys are so awesome you’re in my top 5.
FORD family here. We have several models and all of them have WAY over 200k on them. Our own personal one has only been broken down twice in 19 years! We will definitely be buying Ford again, probably the F250 like what you have, saving up now!
Have a fabulous time on your weekend!!!!
Cool seeing you guys in my neck of the woods! That stretch of I-40 between Memphis and LR is no joke.
Been all over but still love me some Texas!
You should have gone from M'boro, TN to the Loveless Cafe and take the Natchez Trace Parkway to Jackson, MS to San Antonio. You would have seen/drove over the Leiper's Fork Bridge and seen nothing but pine trees all the way to MS.
