Rving Alaska: Spencer Whistle Stop and Placer River Raft Float with Chugach Adventures

Join us and our Xscaper friends as we take an in-depth look of our Xscapers Group Excursion with Chugach Adventures. We spend the day by hopping aboard the Alaska Railroad where we jump off the train at the Spencer Whistle Stop and climb aboard a river raft to explore huge icebergs and Spencer Glacier before we gently float head down the Placer River where we meet back up with our train to take us back to the depot.

Until you actually arrived at the train, poor Mark was half-convinced he was surely en route to be hazed as an initiation into the club. Most likely thrown into a freezing river. As the miles passed by he became increasingly concerned and the likely form of torture more severe. "Perhaps abandoned deep inside a bear sanctuary or sold as bait to crab fishermen", he optimistically hoped.

Thanks +sarajoW! It feels good to be back. I struggled getting back with so much going on now that we are back at our sticks and bricks but I had some down time so I got to it! Thanks for being patient and waiting it out for me to get my butt back into gear.
