This is the process to replace an RV Skylight on the roof of a Class A Motorhome RV. This is a straight forward process, see the links down below to the products used in this video. This is a 2018 Thor Motorcoach Hurricane 34J Class A Motorhome. This skylight broke when I put my hand on it and it was very brittle and caused a large hole. the only way to repair it is to replace the whole skylight. Just did the same thing today didn't put butyl tape think I'll be okay?
Thanks for the video. Using a heat gun on the lap sealant and Butyl rubber makes life easier, but don't damage/melt the roof! also use a plastic scraper/putty knife where you can, metal can damage the roof easier. Also clean the roof surface with a commercial cleaner and then alcohol before applying new sealant.

I did the same darn thing today.. Put my hand on the skylight went right through .. What did you use for a skylight . I want to get the right size height wise.. Where did you get it.. A link on here would be good... I have a 2015 Thor Hurricane 34J

Yeah, mine was very fragile and cracked very easily, I believe this is the one that I bought on Amazon, but I would go up and measure yours just to verify the dimensions amzn.to/3TMzOdf
