Honestly everything else aside the actress who plays A’ruo is so beautiful that it honestly adds to the characters tragedy imo. She could’ve made a lovely marriage outside of the harem or even if she hadn’t been such a nasty schemer-the looks! To make it in the harem.

The purposeful beautiful gown that Aruo wears signifies that she has “Foxiness” or “Sluttyness” impressing to the viewer that she wants to upstage others as she is always near the Emperor.
