I am not Kenyan but lived and worked in Kenya for more than 10 years. Kenyans are capable and smart people. This nation could have been one of the world’s biggest economies if there were honesty at all levels. Corruption is deep-rooted and has become a right and a normal practice. Decentralization has only helped this disease to devolve. Corruption is being perpetuated deliberately and systematically in all sectors. Those who have been saying marginalized saying marginalized did not hesitate to marginalize their own mothers and fathers in the ASAL when the country government formed. A radical change is needed at all levels for this great nation to be a good mother to its citizens. Tribal politics is the main channel to obtain political power and a license for stealing. Kenya has everything and only needs an honest leadership!!!

Kikuyus especially need to overcome their tribal shackles. They have voted 'their own' year after year and Kenya including them have fallen deeper. Gachagua ni mkabila 100%, has been in politics too long and am yet to see what he has done for even his people. You want your coffee back in the world market? Elect a proper leader, not mtu wetu. I greatly respect Senator Okoiti Andrew Omtatah for his patriotic work as Kenya's sole Public Interest Litigator. He defends the interests of the public and Kenya's downtrodden. I take it seriously when he says that President William Ruto may be jailed in the future for his current actions against the Kenya Constitution and other laws.
