How can scientists take an atom to conduct any experiment or from which instrument can the mass of any atom be determined? 🤔

Lecture is at another level but you said in Rutherford atomic nucleus consist of protons and neutrons but neutron is discovered in 1938 and Rutherford atomic model is presented in 1910-11
