The history of this small saw.
This small saw was made by my grandfather. It was made in 1975s.
It was handmade at home 48 years ago and has been kept to this day. In the beginning, it was used as my grandfather told me, but later it was kept in the workshop as a handiwork and a reminder of that time of making. I am glad that after so many years I restored it and brought it back to life. I will not use it, I will keep it as a memory in my garage.
It is rusty a lot from standing, the wood was also dirty and smeared, the screws were rusted and burnt.

In the video, I first showed how it looked before the restoration. After that, I took it apart, unscrewed the screws, separated the metal part from the wooden part, after that cleaning with water, with washing powder. I sanded some parts of the wood with 80 grit and some with 600 grit. I drilled 6mm screw holes in the wood with a drill and after that in the meantime i had to widen them to 8mm. I sanded the screws, varnished the wooden part, the saw was not sharp, so I had to sharpen it with a metal rasp. I sanded the metal part with 80, 120 grit and I apologize that my camera made a focus mistake and I didn't put in the video about final part with 600 grit. I paint it black with spray. In the end, I put all the parts together and the small saw was successfully repaired and brought back to life after 48 years.
