Back in the 1960’s, as a boy, I used to hear the term “Bangers” used to describe these four cylinder Jeeps. This wonderful video gives credence to the long ago term.

Historically, jeeps were created as replacements to drawn mule/s and wagons, including the horse... as WW1 proved the value of machine over animal. Watching this video, makes me smile realizing a Kubota Lawn Tractor of today is far and above more comfortable, easier to maneuver, even safer than these old Bam-Bams on this rugged rocky trail. I’m glad you all had so much fun. Me personally, my arm strength would be toast after an hour or so.

Alessandro Fanton Yes, the patina blue Jeep has the original engine and is still 6 volt. The only alterations are lockers front and rear and a teraflex low range in the transfer case. We have found that this is all you need for the trails we do.

No way! An original jeep is always an original jeep, one moron India (Iam also an Indian) was fighting with me online in the in my description box when there was a comparison test between a cj 2a and a Roxor by a KZreadr! He said all bullshit that the cj 2a is fitted with an off-road suspension, bigger wheels ,bla bla.. and the Roxor is stock,as far as Iam a land cruiser 70,land cruiser 80,Nissan patrol y61 SWB ,Mitsubishi pajero,Mitsubishi j57,Land Rover defender 90 and 110 ,jeep cj3b and Mahindra truck owner ,I can say that the Mahindra is just having a stock truck suspension which makes it unable to flex over rocks ,mahindras are not build for extreme off-road,they just built as workhorses to get resort supplies, pull logs ,conducting forest Safaris and expedition purposes, but till now I have not got any hate over Mahindras, but most 4x4s are better than Mahindras!

For your US market , I guess Mahindra should plan a SWB Mahindra Scorpio wth a solid front axle(as the stock ones have independent front suspensions),otherwise no one would buy it I guess, but I feel it is totally wrong making an outdated jeep clone today and selling it to US for no reason, after all they have the much better or the most capable,Suzuki jimny!
