The drummer in the red shirt is one of my college professors. No joke, he's genuinely the most down to earth person, and he teaches hand drumming. And yes, he can still play this song. He just does it on the hand drum now instead of a drum set.

One of my best friends dad owned a party supply store here in Pittsburgh in the 90’s and early 2000’s. At one point, the entire band except the drummer was employed at one of their locations. He said they’d constantly be making beats on all the boxes and singing songs the whole time they were working but were a great group of people to have working for him. As a young adult at the time, my friends dad would give us tickets to all their concerts around Pittsburgh and we would always go. Great memories, great people, and great music! Love this!

The issue is that phones suck the energy out of people when it should be on the show. Where your mind goes so does the energy. Hence their would be a collective consciousness at concerts before cell phones. This explains the power of concerts pre cell phone, or smart phones more properly speaking. Seeing an NPC on their phone at a show is no skin off my back but the lack of a collective consciousness is a bummer.

"Rusted Root - Send Me On My Way" ... wonderfully uplifting & unique song & group ...
Went to see these guys around 90 or 91 in the burgh. Just out of the Marines.Hard to believe it’s been that long. Great voice. Great style.
Even though he looked like he was humping his guitar at the start, I'm willing to overlook that and rate this as the best version I have heard, live as well...much respect 🙌
Am reminded of a fun 90's Canadian group, Spirit of the West. Woodstock '99 sounded like a nightmare but these guys would be amazing to see live.
Damn... I miss my youth. Thank you KZread for the trip down memory lane. 🕉️✌️
This song never fails to make me happy. Thanks for the reupload!
Thank god this has been uploaded again. I almost had a heart attack when it disappeared for a while
As a lifetime lover of music, I wish I could’ve experienced Woodstock. Great songs, great people, peace and love!
Damn this guy has insane vocals. No autotune BS, just talent and passion. If i wasn't just 4 years old during this performance i would have loved to see it firsthand.
Perfect funeral song if you ask me. Meant respectfully, in a good light. So much good energy.

It’s going to be my funeral song actually 💕
This tune is such good vibes. And then the perfomance is just on another level. Just radiates happiness. Love❤
This band really deserves more recognition! I grew up listening to them and it just brings back so many memories! One of the best bands!!!
The girl at 1:08 is playing a potato for the entire song. How is she alone not in the rock n' roll hall of fame yet??

It’s called Güiro. It is commonly used in Salsa and Latin American Music lol

It’s a Güiro not a Potato 😅
I was not expecting this to be this good live
I was in high school summer going into 11th grade when this started getting radio play. Always such a cool vibe against the backdrop of that great rap/ hip-hop and grunge. Talk about alternative! 👍🏻

I needed more of this and less Nirvana, and Soundgarden now that I'm looking back at those years. Oh well my kids loving Ice Age brought me around, and I'm lving this band's vibe now.
Michael was in my hometown for a show and afterwards he joined a cover band for a performance of this song and it was SO cool!
I miss the 90’s. This song came out in 1990 ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
The vest + bare chest combo is so ‘90s, I’m obsessed!
