Rusted Coffee Grinder - Restoration
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this video i'm restoring a Rare coffee grinder Peugeot
I bought this coffee grinder at flea market for 5 euro.
This coffee grinder is made in France in 1930 by Peugeot Frerres.
I start this restoration by disassembly and cleaning all the parts in my parts washer, after that i removed all the old paint and i put all metal parts in rust remover for 2 hours.
To bring back the color of the wood i start by sanding and i apply 2 coat of stains .
After 2 hours in rust remover all metal parts was free of rust and i start cleaning them with a scotch brite and i clean them with clear water. To make the metal parts more shiny i start grinding them with a soft wire wheel and after that i sanded all metal parts with sandpaper 400 grit. To make almost mirror polish i utilize a cloth wheel and polishing compound. After a long time all parts was ready and i start reassembly.
I hope you like my video , let me know if you like coffee and were are you from!

@@TysyTube haha! you are getting there too mate! your videos are getting much better in terms of editing. I also enjoyed this restoration. I just have two suggestions for you to consider: please don't use plastic cups. use glass cups that you can reuse later. And some thing you do on the restoration, like cutting the screw would be nice to have some text explaining why. oh, and another one: you replaced some screws for new ones. would also be cool to say that. Apart from these very minor details, I loved it. cheers!

So you asked where and how much coffee we drink. Well I'm from Brazil, I take one shot of strong coffee when I wake up (about 60 ml or 2 fl oz) another when arrive at work, perhaps two or three more in the morning and the last one after lunch! Here we make coffee with a Nespresso machine and we use the RISTRETTO capsules. Total of 360 ml (12 fl oz.)/ day. I´m in the middle of consumers, and we drink less because we make it stronger like the in Italia, but there´s a lot of people n Brazil that drink the coffee strained, with intensities varying between the strong tea color in the hostest regions at the black ink color in the soutwest! By the way; very nice job! Subscribed and enjoyed!

I must be terribly unhealthy then. I like coffee, sugar in coffee( only 1), a little sugar on cereal, chocolate on Saturday night with wife and kids, I had sausage and chips( fries) yesterday for dinner. I'm not a big fat lump, I do weights, like walking, and still enjoy things that others frown upon. I don't care what others think. If I like it, I eat it. I don't drink or smoke, so I'm enjoying everything in moderation. Oh, and occasionally I like a cake.

Subscribed to your channel today. What you do is rather like a forensic archaeologist - restoring cultural artifacts to their original purpose and appearance similar to people who do the same for artifacts from the Titanic or recreate medieval trebuchets. Well done. Really well done. This turned out beautifully.
Wow! What a transformation! Makes me want to hit up the local antique stores and find a project of my own.
coffee keeps me alive!...I'm from Southern Nevada!!....another great video brother
Beautiful restoration, as always. And yes, I love coffee here in the USA.
I'm from Italy and a lot of coffee here tends to be the Arabic type (if it's called like that in english). Here we're very fond of drinking a real brewed coffee, in fact having a "moka" pot (coffee brewer) at home, it's the most normal thing to have... We rarely drink solubile coffee but for the barley coffee, which is also quite common to drink here. We're also known for having the biggest variety of coffe. Each part of Italy has some local ways to do it, but for example, you can have a coffe "espresso", "decaffeinato", "lungo", "americano", "macchiato", "macchiato freddo", "corretto", "schiumato", "ristretto", "doppio", "al ginseng", and in a lot more ways...
This is the second coffee grinder restoration I've seen recently; being something of a coffee connoisseur, I really think I need one of these classic grinders. I love coffee [United States]

I am from America and I like coffee. Great job on the restorations. Keep the videos coming. I love seeing old tools and gadgets get a new start.
Even this coffee grinder used to squeak. Doing it the old-fashioned way is what the strategy is. That's making coffee. ☕️
Even though I enjoyed watching several of your videos I had not considered subscribing until I saw your shoe. Pure genius worthy of my subscription.
Greetings from ALBANIA .. i like turkish coffee. Nice job buy the way :)

Te pasaste de lanza con lo de HELP jajajaja 😂 Buena esa. Me fascina el sonido del martillo en avance rápido 😋 Muy entretenido. Saludos desde México. Acá desayunamos tacos de Chile con café jajaja 🤣
I am from Croatia. The first coffee that I drink is at home before work, two at work and one when I get home. I mostly drink "Franck" coffee. ❤Love your video❤👍
I love coffee. If I don't drink my freshly ground morning coffee, I feel I'm not awake. After lunch, another cup of coffee enters into my digestive system. Some days, I drink a third cup at night, before going to bed. My favourite coffe bean is Moka (fruity, very little acidity). I own a Krups Coffina Super grinder from the 70's and works very good. Thanks for sharing your restoration with us.
