Rust Repair on TED NUGENT's Ford Bronco - Stacey David's Gearz S1 E1
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Everybody knows that rust is a fact of life... especially on older vehicles. Stacey shows you what is involved in repairing rusty quarter panels on legendary rocker, Ted Nugent's zebra Bronco... after he subjects the ol' Bronco to some off-roadin' you have to see to believe!

I am only 30 and remember watching trucks with stacey. Definitely stopped watching once the new host come in the show.
Always made my Sunday morning hangovers much better watching this.
I could watch Stacey tie his shoes with his voiceover. This Uncle Ted Bronco is just icing on the cake. It really is great to see you, Stacey. Keep rollin', brother.
Seeing Copperhead and Crazyhorse sitting in the background makes me so happy.. Back in the good old days I watched both of those amazing machines come to life. 💪

This is how I started my Saturday mornings for so many years of my life. TRUCKS on TNN, became GEARZ on spike TV. I miss the whole powerblock TV. But damn I'm happy to have found this channel, they say history repeats itself. Now it's my time watch these with my sons,

I've been watching Stacy David since 1998 when I first started building my Jeep Gladiator now how cool is that
I’m about to restore my 93 bronco and I was nervous but he makes it look so easy. Loved watching his shows growing up
That's a beautiful dog 🐕, I love your dog, your videos and your garage
Even thru Grueling body work, he always manages to have the most positive attitude.
I hollered out with my guitar strings a few times while Stacy was on
First time I saw this truck it was at Bill Stroppe Motorsports sitting next to Parnelli Jone's 'Big Oly'... quite a sight. Glad to hear its still out there bouncing around.
I can I was building a 1965 Jeep Gladiator truck Stacey David was a tremendous help on that project thanks Stacey
Great Video! Always wanted to replace panels on k1500 chevy. Michigan winters will do that! Thanks for sharing!
Glad to find this channel I watched all the episodes back in the day Now I can rewatch them thanks Stacy

Awesome!
We worked on Ted's Bronco when I was at Planet Powersports in Coldwater. I saw this truck after the work Gearz had done when Build a Bronco in Tekonsha was fixing the mess. All I can say is wow the camera can really hide the bad stuff. After the work Gearz had done to the Bronco, the top didn't even fit anymore. Last I knew, Ted's been taking his Broncos to Butler Automotive in Coldwater. Much love for my fellow Michiganiac and Broncoholic Ted! Btw, my '91 Silver Anniversary Bronco on 38.5" Super Swampers was bigger!😄
Ouchie! Those Michigan winters! Thank you for a very educational video. It gives hope to those snow belt Vehicle owners whether they be Jeep, Ford, or Chevy owners! You are a skilled surgeon on that vehicle! Carry On Sir!
Had a 80, a 84 and a 95 a 300 6,a 302 and another 302 and they were all rot boxes.Never figured out if it was the steel used in mfg. or the way they were built to hold moisture and crud so they rot out. Here on the east coast it seemed that certain colors didn't rot out as fast, that'd be the green and the maroon, mine were light blue, green and white. Two were manuals and the 95 was an automatic. The 300 six seemed to be the torqueyest. Had to rebuild the 95 auto e4od trans once but no problems ever w/ the manuals.
I purchased power nation to watch all the Trucks! Episodes back when he was with the other co host I think pat then he left and Stacey took over. I always remember Stacey from when I was a kid hearing saying “alright” or “ok” at the cutscenes he does it at 5:54 if you don’t know what I’m talking about.
Great work.you are obviously an expert.thanks
I've only met a handful of famous people. The owner of that Bronco and the guy who's fixing it are two of them : )
Me and my dad watched Gearz when I was younger and now that I’m in high school, I’ve been trying to find episodes and I’m finally now able to sit down with my dad and relive the days when Stacy David helped fuel my love for cars

Thanks for watching! All the episodes are on my channel now!
I got to drive that Bronco for several hours with Ted nappin in passenger seat. 1985, Ted and i were Bear Hunting in Ontario Canada,,,coming back Ted said i need a few hours sleep,,,,,he said Gray , if you go over 55 i will skin and gut you alive, I said Yes Sir. We did 54 mph the next few hours. Ted had that Bronco with all 4 tires off the ground to many times to Count, it was like riding on Clouds, smooth as a babies butt, i call it the James Bond vehicle of Hunting . 2 cars were side by side crossing a huge bridge, Ted put 2 tires on the medium and we passed both cars on the very top of that bridge, i looked down at the lady in the fast lane, i smiled and she looked at us like we were Crazy,,,yeeeeee Hawwwww, Dog will Hunt
Grinding and welding with out covering the interior. That's professional.
Ahhh the late 90s early 2000s …. When regular television was like a medium quality KZread video I miss those days……
it would be cool if stacey and mel could do one more project!
Been waiting for this one !
Oh I've been wanting to see this one.
20:20 the sound of the rusty gate is so funny lol!
I fixed aloft of um n May Day ! FUN STUFF
I hope they do more videos taking us back to the Bronco age
My favorites are the wicked Willy’s and crazy horse
I also remember going to the Bronco rendezvous!! "Dr. lowlock Rock"!!
Had a 90 bronco.. notorious for rusting rear fender and bottom tailgate..but luv the truck

Ted's bronco was done up by the racing legend Bill Stroppe at his shop in long beach for one of Ted's music vedios .

Im a 65 cadillac sedan guy and guess what, we are screwed with pre-made panels
Wish I had the money to have work on my 87 Bronco done. Bought it and 6 months later went off the side of a mountain in my coal truck and crushed my neck. I went thru all mechanics that I could do but no way I could do body work. Maybe I'll hit the lottery one day. Lol

I'd soild axle swap it, Dana 60 front and rear but keep the coil front end, it's not hard and here in Michigan a lot of us have done it ... Change out a few engine parts add gt40 heads get 600 out it bullet proof the trans .. one bad off roader and trail beast
I'm glad you're friends with a real patriot like Ted
I remember when that was first done!
The quarter panel shown is actually from a 1980 through 86 because the body line over the wheel well is different.

This project was never finished. Ted claimed Stacey ruined it.
Nice
Cool video. Ted's truck was pretty cool, but now? Wow! It will be like it's not a MI truck, almost. That's Rad! What tires & size is he running? Try knipex adjustable pliers for (everything) sheet metal work, it's like having mini hand vise.
Living in Wisconsin, I'd bet the floors are junk too!
Ah, the Bushmaster which then became the Phoenix.

Stacey I need help with my 66 4dr Malibu . It's starting to rust and bubble in places I never thought would. It was totally sand blasted and minor rust spot taken care of then primed and painted Several years ago. But I can't do the work any more and don't work two jobs any more so not enough funds to buy the equipment you have to fix it. My family and I love this 4dr but don't want to sell it. Any ideas to help us out. I'm recently retired LEO and Navy (submariner) Vet. Thank you for any help you can get us.
I want to point out how old this show is. Because now if you want a ford bronco you still spending a good penny now for one in atleast good shape
That's a lot of fucking work man! Looks great 👍
I've seen my share of bondo buggys in my life
