There are 12 tenses in the English language but only 3 in RUSSIAN!!!
However, there are verb aspects... Most verbs have a perfective and an imperfective form.
The perfective forms (CB) are used in a similar way as English Present Perfect, Past Perfect and Future Perfect Tenses.
And the imperfective (HCB) forms can be compared to how Present/Past/Future Simple and Continuous are used as well as Present/Past/Future perfect continuous tenses.
