What should i do if my opponent has the russiand and head position? I lost my last match against a greco guy because i lost my head position and i had no answer for it and i got taken down

Giuseppe Di Meo gripping the inside wrist, or fingers, is probably best. Try to keep head-position.

How do you get past the Russian tie defense once someone has posted on the head?

short fuse keep the tie, use their own arm to swat away his stiff arm.
