Thank you, Stephanie, for your instruction and up close demonstrations. You are my “go to” whenever I need to learn something or refresh my memory on a technique. I also wanted to tell you that I have a niece that I taught a few simple techniques to when she was a teenager. She is now an adult and has caught the bead weaving bug, so I told her about your videos. She took a look and loved everything she watched. So your gift 💝 of instruction to me I was able to pay it forward to her. The tradition continues!

Another awesome video tutorial, Stephanie. I found it very useful to use a dowel (or knitting needle) to put through the spiral to make it easier to hold on to. It also helped to keep my tension even while beading. I used one color of 3mm Firepolish beads, 4 beads around. It turned out great. Making a second one today, it is a fun stitch. Made a matching beaded toggle in the same 11/0 seed bead I used in the bracelet. Thanks, you are a wonderful teacher.

Hello, Stephanie! I now have a small plastic bag in my stash containing 3 of my 7 attempts at your version of the Russian Spiral Bracelet. First time-1/2 inch, Second time-1 inch, all the rest of the times-2-2.5 inches. I think it is time for me to lay it aside for now and come back when my brain is functioning. I keep dropping a stitch somewhere (which of course messes up the pattern!) Then when I go back to fix it, I get totally lost! Your directions are great for a person who doesn't drop a stitch LOL Thank you for the tutorial...it was great!

Hey Stephanie, After 6+ attempts I was so aggravated because I got it at first but then kept screwing up. I was about to step away when your videos came up in my suggestions. Before I whipped out the tequila, I switched to Wildfire and different beads. I'm using one color so I grouped in sets of three. I was doing the step up wrong. Finally success and it looks really pretty. You're a great teacher. Thank you Stephanie! 😊

Finished my first piece. Instead of using the ends that you used I went to the bead store and used the “pandora” style beads. They are the perfect size. And the clasp ended up being the main focal point of the bracelet. I have had the issue with the magnets and resolved it by putting a safety chain on it. I attached mine as I was putting the ends into the the bead cap attaching it to the magnet. It is a little difficult to do you have to string the safety chain through your bead work.

If you want the seed beads & fire polished to spiral in the same direction, pick up the same color as the bead you're heading toward (if you are going to a turquoise bead, pîck up a turquoise, etc.) It's a fun stitch to make.

Hey Duck Jr. I have the thread path correct, it is spiraling correctly but some of the beads are poking out and will not lay down right. I am going to try again and see if I can fix it. And as always, you are fantastic! I can follow your instructions easily. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I will soon have my bead workshop put together and then I can work the beads in comfort. Thanks again!

+Trudy Vandeventer Hi Trudy 😃 If your thread path is correct then adjust your tension. This stitch tends to loosen each time you add beads. Try holding the previous stitch as you add the next. It’s a process🤣🤣🤣 They still come out wonky when I let my tension loosen a bit. Some beaders sew through twice or reinforce the 11/0’s by sewing through the line but I find it warps the piece.

I have a question about this weave. Except for the seedbeads, does it matter what type of beads use use? for example, can bicones be used in this weave? Or rondelles (if they are small enough)?

Thanks Ansje! It really is trial and error with the magnetic clasps. I purchase most of mine on Amazon and have been happy with them. You can put on a safety chain as well to be sure it won't pull off. I typed "magnetic clasps" in the Amazon search bar and read the reviews the ones I was interested in. The few I have purchased at my local craft store have not been as strong. Hope this helps!

You can add a little chain on the clasps as a safety chain.

I wonder if you can talk Tierracast into making a large hole Oasis bead - so you don't have to cut off the loop - worried about the edgs it creats. But I do love the look you've created with it. 'Love Russian spirals and have been enjoying your Victoria series.

You can buy large spacers on most bead websites. However I do like the Tierracast brand 😀so it would be nice if they could create several styles of large hole spacers. Glad you are enjoying the Victoria Series!

I suggest you use beading thread. Either Fireline or Wildfire. You can use the Fireline at the sporting goods store as well. It’s essentially the same as a Fireline beading thread. Here is a link to adding thread video kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z3mJqrCOpq6fmLg.html

Hi Stephanie, I made a necklace with this tutorial and I love how it came out! I was wondering, could I make this as a bangle? I made one of your tubular netted bangles for my Mom and it came out great, but I wanted to use three colors like you do here. Could I just stitch the ends together like you did in the netted bangle? Thank you so much, your work is truly stunning and I love your channel!! Danielle from CA.
