I'm sorry for you, i just want to say that it makes a huge difference to hear that regular people aren't indifferent or supportive of this. I mean i guess attitudes vary, but the main thing is probably that we see that you're just like us and that you're stuck in a tough spot. Protests send an important message that will probably have real impact on how Russia will be treated the coming decades. In the past wars have fuelled hatred towards entire populations as "animals" and so on. I hope we in the west can separate between russian people and govt, just like we don't assume germans are nazis.

Hello. I am from Poland (Lublin). I spent whole night helping ukrainian refugees (women and children, older people) on the bus station as many other people here. They were scared, sometimes crying, looking for accomodation or going fether to the europe or world. Belive me I feel so sorry for the Ukrainians and young Russian soldiers wo does not know anthing about the world (I saw in YT those are 18-20 "pacany") and their families (every one have mothers, fathers or wifes and children). We are helping people here. I hope this madness will stop ASAP. I will pray for it.

Russia/Ukraine For Dummies: There are two large areas within the Ukraine that are INDEPENDENT of the Ukraine. They are the DPR (Donetsk People's Republic) and the LPR (Luhansk People's Republic). BOTH areas receive humanitarian aid from Russia because the Ukrainian government refuses to do anything for them. The Ukrainian government has begun to systematically kill the people of the DPR and the LPR by bombing them, starving them and sending in the Ukrainian military to murder them. * This would be like the people of Puerto Rico being slaughtered by the Cuban government and Jamaican terrorists, and asking America for help. No difference at all. There are also actual Neo-Nazi terrorist groups dug in deep in the Ukrainian countryside that assist the Ukrainian army in the genocide of the DPR and the LPR citizens. There are also illegal bio-weapons labs in the Ukraine. There is also a horrific human trafficking network in the Ukrainian capital. Putin is the only world leader (now that Trump is no longer in office), that is willing to help the people in the DPR and the LPR AND rid the country of the Neo-Nazi faction, protect the citizens of the DPR and the LPR, destroy the bio-weapons labs and annihilate the human trafficking network. Putin has exhausted ALL avenues of resolve. He has asked for help from the UN, the US, NATO and other individual countries, but since all of those entities are in league with the Ukrainian government, the construction of the aforementioned bio-weapons labs AND the genocide of the Ukrainian people, they refuse to help. Russia IS NOT in the Ukraine to OCCUPY anything! These are STRIKES that PUTIN promised would come if no one would help Russia put an end to all of this. Lastly, NATO is in the thick of this as well and wants a full blown war between Russia and Ukraine. That way, they think they can defeat Russia and continue with the evil work they are currently overseeing in the Ukraine.

For example, I ALWAYS make sure to listen to at least 2 news sources that are not from the US. Since I also speak Spanish, I'll often read El País, which is a newspaper from Spain. I'll often listen to news from a country in Latin America. I also listen to to Spanish people living in Australia (believe it or not!) talking about world news. Then I also listen to the BBC, along with the New York Times and Washington post. Btw, this is why I always found the question that Katie Couric asked Sarah Palin (which news sources do you consume) a great one. As you said, every news source has their biases and the only way to guard against it is to get your news from multiple sources.

British journalist about what is really happening kzread.info/dash/bejne/dIaq3JeugJirZ9Y.html The same journalist about real neo-nazis participate kzread.info/dash/bejne/eHtlyNehe9q-hqQ.html In addition, let me say about unknown, unpopular, true history: Putin has been expressing fears for 8 years that if NATO places its missiles in Ukraine, their flight time to Moscow will be 5-7 minutes. This is a serious security threat. Especially when consider that America and NATO have already invaded many countries without the sanction of the UN Security Council. But, everyone spat on Putin diplomatic "concerns". In 2014, there was a coup in Ukraine. Aggressive neo-Nazis were used to suppress the population who are friendly to Russia. People scare by them and obey them. The ancestors of some of them served Hitler in such units as the SS Galitchina, known for their crimes as the Volyn Massacre. All this is NOT condemned now in Ukraine after 2014. Aggressive neo-nazis from west side arrive to Odessa and burn alive civilians, 2 may 2014. All killers still free. (I think that is coup was organized by american intelligence, for movement NATO to east, to russian borders.) Therefore, in 2014, Crimea and Donbass hastened to separate from Ukraine (actually, these territories were donated to Ukraine republic by Stalin and other leaders of the USSR). After the USSR was destroyed by order from above, Crimea remained part of Ukraine on the rights of autonomy, with the possibility of exit. This opportunity has been used. Crimea voted for secession in a referendum, by a majority of votes. Donbass did not have such an opportunity. Therefore, the men of Donbass took up arms. In response, Ukraine has been shelling Donbass for 8 years, with artillery and mortars. According to the Minsk agreements, both warring parties should roll back heavy artillery away from the border. But President Zelensky categorically refused to do this. Then Putin decided to defend Donbass by military means. Few days ago, ukrainian artillery on the border with Donbass was suppressed. At this time, Zelensky hotly said that Ukraine can and should create its own nuclear weapons. Putin decided that punks with nuclear weapons is too much. He decided to continue the operation in Ukraine. The control centers of the Ukrainian troops were hit. The special operation to protect Donbas in few days turned into a war in Ukraine. In conclusion, I want to say about where the nationalists originated in Ukraine. Who brought up the generation of neo-Nazis. At the end of World War II, there was an offensive by the Soviet army from the East, and an offensive by the Allied armies, Britain and America, from the West. At the same time, those in Ukraine who served Hitler fled to Canada. Later, the USSR government allowed them to return and pardoned them. It was a big mistake . The former Nazis returned with money and influence. Let me also share the source I found yesterday.
