Russian mobilised soldiers stage mutiny and hit back at Putin

Dozens of mobilised soldiers have staged an extraordinary mutiny telling how they have no respect for the authorities in Vladimir Putin’s Russia.
A uniformed spokesman for the men is applauded by conscripts after he threatened the people should topple their rulers over the war in Ukraine.
He berates an unseen commander or top official over the threats faced by conscripts called to war by the Kremlin dictator.
The unnamed reservist mocks a policy in his region - the Tuva republic in Siberia - to gift a ram to each family of those mobilised.
He says there are not enough walkie-talkies and no adequate socks for the men who have been in training ahead of being sent 3,200 miles to fight for Putin.

I’m on the fence on this one. While I don’t particularly care about Ukraine, and consider Russia to be evil, I’m still thinking about the cowardly draft dodgers who went to Canada while their countrymen died in Vietnam. If they truly were brave, they would take the training and the weapons, then overthrow Putin.

I dont know, dying in Ukraine (either by Ukrainians if you decide to fight, or by russians if you fail to flee and surrender) is not a good alternative, the kremlin regime is slowly failing and falling, I dont believe Putin has the resources to punish thousands of "uncooperative" soldiers, if they dont return to Russia right now but wait a few months, they might return to democratic russia and resume their lifes without facing charges. Honestly I would personally be a coward and refuse to fight or surrender asap, who in their right mind would go try to kill ukrainians with no good reason, no equipment, skill or moralle. I really hope somebody takes care of Putin so that this war can quickly end.

who built Kharkiv Odessa Kherson?Russians are Russian cities that the Communists gave to Ukrainians without the demand of the Russian people. And Kiev is the same Russian city that would be the capital of Russia for a long time. There are millions of Russians living in Ukraine. Why did Americans have the right to independence from Great Britain? Why do other nations have this right and Russians don't? Moreover, Putin is crazy, he started fighting for nothing at all. he announced the demands on February 24 without any recoupment of Ukraine. And Ukraine would have surrendered long ago and a lot fewer people would have died. If not people who are thousands of kilometers away that they themselves are staging wars everywhere decided to spend their people's money in the name of killing Russians. This is not a war in the name of Ukraine and justice. The West itself arranges wars everywhere, changes the government as it pleases. Iraq Libya. If necessary, your governments will destroy anyone, regardless of any international law. And you will be silent, you don't care. And now your governments are not doing everything for peace, they are sending weapons to kill Russians. And you support it. who are you after that?

I am American and I just discovered only a week ago what the expression Fair play means in Irish slang. I have been listening to the Van Morrison song named “Fairplay to you “ for the past 30 years and didn’t know what the title referred to.

@@henryate5028 Of course it's propaganda. The ratio of dead Russian soldiers to Ukrainian soldiers is at least 1 to 6. Untrained Ukrainian forces are forcibly recruited and shot if they try to escape. The fit ones are already demolished at the front. It will be exciting in November with the Russian mobilization, Ukraine does not have much to oppose apart from it's media gossip.
