Cossack songs are folk songs which were created by the Cossacks of the Russian Empire. Cossack songs were influenced by Russian and Ukrainian folk songs, North Caucasian music, as well as original works by Russian composers. Cossack songs are divided into several subgroups including Don, Terek, Ural, etc.

at the beginning of the music, there was a part that sounded alot like the classic music of Holy, Holy. Much music is influenced by other music. Naturally this Russian music is much older then the one I mentioned. It's one of the most beautiful world wide.

Meio que tem sim, o sul recebeu muitos imigrantes de países eslavos como Polônia, Ucrânia, Chéquia, Eslováquia e Rússia. Então tem influência cossaca sim

Cossacks were in independent state named Cossack Hetmanate (Zaporizhian Host), but a part of them were hirelings in Russian Empire and Polish Kingdom so you're quite right.

Cossacks were a class of warriors in lands of modern-day Ukraine and Russia. Different Cossacks groups served to different rulers, but in the end all of them were subdued by the Russian Empire.

Also, I don't think that these songs are exclusively "cossack" songs. Sounds to me a lot like just regular ol' Russian folk music.

yeah in this case "cossack" means Donsky Cossack which were part of Russian Imperial military. Also Ukrainian cossack songs is completely different.

Quite so. And to be completely honest, I think you can count cossack songs to the general folk music of the respective nations, as they are so closely entwined. Cossacks were (or are, to a certain extent) more of a social caste/class than a distinct ethnic group.

Alsemenor Mate Cossacks are mix of Russians and Tatars so it's normal

Not really. Large parts of their culture come from the Caucasus instead, and I doubt they have much Tatar genetics especially considering that some of the hosts were even created to counter steppe peoples.

Lascupa0788 You right but they are Christians and Slavs are Christians too their other neighbours were muslims like Uzbeks,Circassians,Crimea Turks because of this they make more contact with Slavs more than others.They are not Tatars now because of this today is Tatars are mix of Tatar and other Turkic and Mongolic races and they are Muslim.For example of this situation this is like Crimea Turks fight with Ottoman Turks(I said only Turks from many races of ottoman because army was made from Turks except janissaries and they were a little group and later Turks join in the janissaries too) against Russians.

@Fedir Сhornobryvtsev казаки красной нечисти присягу не давали, остальные казаки воевали против немцев. Да и самих русских около миллиона было в СС, и в основном это бывшие красные, такие Власов, Каминский и т.д. запомни это р Ю з к и й
