Russians are great people, and so are their music and literature. Beside torture and starvation this people with great character express their deepest feeling in cultural workouts. Since I had so many friends with russian roots I really respect this people.

Privet, druz´ya I love folk Russian Music, but nobody can love the music of a Country without loving that Country too! There is a friendship and I would say that even a Brotherhood of more than 100 years between Mexico and Russia! Whenever Russians come to Mexico, they are at HOME! And they treat us the same in Russia! Both Countries respect and believe in Family values! I am sure both Countries are going to be friends forever, no matter what!

The song is called in russian дорогой длинною and was written in year 1920. "Those were the days" was a 1970s English lyric to the tune
