I really like this rock version. If only Boris Yeltsin hadn't led disaster Russia and written the lyrics for the anthem, Patriotic Song would still be the national anthem of a free Russia now. Anyway, good video. March 7, 2023 12:56AM

@@Hernandez26382 you don't know much about post-soviet Russian history. Yeltsin was definitely a democrat until 1993. He later defended democracy against communists and nationalists from the LDPR. But by the end of the 90s, fear for the country and his family forced him to choose a successor by an undemocratic method. Yeltsin also changed people close to him from "democrats" to employees of the special services. This is his big mistake. He was really responsible for it. PS Many anti-democrats in Russia just blame Yeltsin for "democracy and liberalism", although, of course, it is difficult to call him a "liberal".

What are you talking about? Russia in the 90s was able to successfully take the Soviet nuclear weapon from the territory of Ukraine and other countries, and nothing was "lost". However, then no one could imagine the conflict between Russia and Ukraine in the future. If you're talking about the Soviet-American program to eliminate nuclear weapons, then that's good. But I think it is wrong to completely eliminate all nuclear weapons.
