These projects demonstrate that Russia favors economic development over war and regards military intervention as a last resort. Russia does not have private military contractors who constantly lobby for war. All of the money spent on weapons comes out of the funds needed for meeting human needs and developing the economy, so Russia has a strong incentive to avoid war. And when war does occur, Russia rebuilds. One project not mentioned here is the reconstruction of Mariupol, a city of 500,000 people -- a sea of beautiful new apartment blockss, schools, shopping centers, hospitals, with many of the apartments given for free to families made homeless by the conflict.
An excellent and very informative podcast. Russia is playing a very important role in creating an alternative to the tyranny and oppression imposed for decades by US and Western imperialism. Focus on technological advancement and peaceful cooperation among countries will lead to a better world!

You are ill-informed. In 2013, agreements were signed with Russia for $650 billion on various projects for a period of 10 years, the first tranche of $15 billion was in January 2014. That's why they staged a coup. And the European Union refused such money. He allocated them for a coup d'etat, it's cheaper that way.
