Russia Shocked!! The world's largest aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford arrives near Ukraine
The world's largest aircraft carrier, and the US Navy's newest and most advanced warship, is in European waters for its first deployment. USS Gerald R. Ford recently completed Exercise Silent Wolverine, a series of offshore maritime exercises involving 13 ships from six other NATO Allies. During the exercise, the carrier launched and recovered fighters, reconnaissance aircraft, electronic warfare aircraft and helicopters while coordinating with ships from Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain. Working together in a multinational carrier strike group, Silent Wolverine gave NATO Allies the opportunity to see the USS Gerald R. Ford in action and become familiar with its systems. USS Gerald R. Ford makes its first foreign port visit near Ukraine. After Silent Wolverine, the ship immediately visited the coast near Ukraine, giving the government and citizens the opportunity to see the ship in person.
