NATO had surrounded Russia and bringing Ukraine into NATO would have been the gateway into Russian territory. What do you expect? There shouldn't have been a NATO after USSR collapsed. Why is that? Yup, the Slav, Roma and Jewish people during WW2 was targeted and seen as "lesser" by the Germans and their allies (and let us be honest, many other Western nations, even those who fought against Germany, also believed that rubbish that Francis Galton spread). It is good to see and important that the victimized people of WW2 come to each other's defense in times like these. Never forget what these so called "civilized" nations pushed back then as "progressive" ideas.

@@richardm4825 Not to dictate your life, but if you find what I said confusing or unintelligible then maybe you should go read a history book 👍 Europeans hold many grudges against, based on the history they've shared. The most evil historical transgressions among them were when they started killing based on ethnicity. Not what language you spoke, or what flag you flew, what your belief system was. Basically, killing based the shape of your ears or that of your nose, ie a trait a person had they couldn't help. Humans have done some horrible things throughout history, but WW2 is singled out as the worst for that very reason.

The pact of non-attack was signed by the Soviet Union and Germany after such pacts had been signed with the na zi by most other states including Britain, Poland and others. Does it mean they were all the na zi allies? The USSR didn't fight alongside the Germans, but in a situation when the Polish govt had fled, the USSR returned its former territories defined by the Curzon Line, because it wanted to drive the borders away a little before the German attack, and in the 90s it let those territories get away

Not just showing one side used to be a trait of American broadcasting which was chipped away for decades after the Fair Doctrine Act was removed by Reagan and his thugs. It's important to show what everyone is saying, not what you imagine what used to be an ally wants to say. They've been trying to put a stop to this since the beginning too, always being snubbed by Ukraine not showing up, early on in 2022.

@leoa1893 OKraine (I think you might mean Ukraine) in 2014 was the start of the Illegal Occupation of Crimea by Russia followed up by the Full Scale Invasion of the Sovereign Nation of Ukraine in 2022.
