German here. I've wondered about it. Of course our intelligence agencies must know. It's probably a strategy to play it cool and not damage our relationship with the USA. Acknowledging that the USA did it would turn the public against the US and make the US more weary of Germany. My best guess is that our politicians are trying to strategize behind the scenes while keeping up the "business as usual" façade. Germany effectively has no military - so all that we can do is try to play is smart.

After their investigation, the Sweded stated that they will not disclose their findings, because it would "threaten their national security". For me that obviously means they would have been afraid of reprecussions from the US if they had disclosed that it was them that blew up the pipeline. If I were a Swede, I would be protesting against the government that is trying to hide the truth.

As a Russian, I can say that I am wildly irritated by the actions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the government in general regarding Nord Stream. A lot of public money has been invested there, including from my taxes. I expect that we will unilaterally confiscate tankers and other ships of Denmark and the United States for an equivalent amount of money. And this is what I would do as the head of our government. No one will ever do any investigation. Our Foreign Ministry is simply wasting working time = my money. We either have to take something back or damage communications for equivalent amout of our losses.

Biden previously warned Russia about the North stream pipeline in a rather open and cocky way - suggesting something will happen to it, if Russia went into Ukraine... Not long after - BOOM..! Apparently a very specialized process, deep sea dive, special explosives, very refined knowledge etc etc, something not really of kids playing with fireworks... So despite all this, US has failed yet again... But saying the obvious ( the pipeline was destroyed) in a report is an insult and a deliberate one at that - nothing but bullies, just playing silly games and playing for time. Whom ever did it, needs to be brought to justice, as this terrorism is just getting out of hand. One rule for you, another rule for another.. It would seem that the UK and US are actually at war with Russia, and all this is, is just under arm tactics to poke the nest of the hornet..!!1

It’s okay for us to assume that the U.S. acting in concert with its vassal states in Europe bears full responsibility for the blowing up of the Nordstream pipelines. On the basis of this, sanctions and seizure of U.S. property should ensue. This after all is how the U.S. has done it when it accuses other countries of various violations (most of which the U.S. simply makes up or contrives).

The United States destroyed this pipeline after they failed to sanction and block its construction and commissioning. No other country is responsible. There is no point repairing it right now because the EU won't buy the gas anyway. It's not that Russia has turned the gas off, it's that Europe has shot herself in the foot and decided that it won't take it directly from Russia. In reality we still get Russian gas (thank god we do), but we don't pay Russia directly, we pay premium prices to India who buy it from Russia and then sell it to Europe. The whole thing is such a massive lie perpetuated by European news outlets. Which, incidentally, have been completely silent on the matter for the past 2 years after initially blaming Russia.

Are they not aware the same Ukrainians they cheer on and arm coup their govt back by US and then attacked their own people in the east, mosty Russian speakers. Israel has a right to defend itself but not Palestinians and not ethnic Russians in Ukraine. We can come to aid or Israel but Russia can't come to aid of Syria or ethnic Russians in east Ukraine?? How about US involvement in 2014 coup or US and UK involvement in sabotaging peace talks after 2022?
