Within the framework of the agreement he made with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, Yanukovych extended the lease of the base by 25 years in return for purchasing natural gas from Russia at a 30 percent discount. The agreement also includes an article stating that at the end of 25 years, the period can be extended for another 5 years if the parties deem it appropriate. I am sure It helped some Ukrainians to get rich. And I think that the part which was directed to make humanitarian aid actually helped some people to survive. Of course there wouldn't be such a need if conflict wasn't bloated in the beginning. But let's be honest, no common people were asked on either sides. I mean, There are some and many people who actually believe that Ukrainians fight for a righteous goal and on their own will. But I think that's a big lie, and people fight for some rich guys interests. Some will strongly disagree, saying that Ukrainians did choose their way willingly and it wasn't instilled or imposed on. But it's known there were interference from outside, so if we hold on asserting it was their decision, then we must admit that it was the same for Russians, and in the end it's up for a certain person to decide how to handle situation. And that what pro-ukrainian supporters are mostly not willing to agree with. Since that contradicts their agenda of russian people being an "orc horde" and will-less flock. Anyway, that's not what my point is about. I think it's all a lie and the real reason is money and power. It just can't be manifested directly, cause it's not case of everybody's money, it's always somebody's money and power (sometimes hypothecal though). So a cover reason will always be made up, such as nationalism or religion motifs.

There are already a number of messages in telegram that the Russian army on Friday crossed the border into the Kharkov region and occupied many settlements and quite a significant territory. There are also reports that Kharkov residents are leaving the city in fear, while they are being reassured by various talking heads(sorry, infl🤮encers), that this was only the first line of defense, while 2 and 3 are perfectly protected. We'll see, there is little information yet, everything will become clear in a few days, I think.

Also, this "Ukraine's numbers are unreliable!" is stupid. Ukraine has literally zero need to lie about their losses because they can be explained away as "defending their homeland". The idea that the Ukrainians are taking "7 to 1 losses against Russia" doesn't add up at all. 150,000 Russia soldiers have been killed in Ukraine according to a recent report from France. That would mean over a million soldiers on Ukraine's side have died, which does not add up AT ALL comparative to the amount of soldiers fighting for Ukraine. That's not even counting the wounded either, that's just a straight death count. TLDR: These "asian sources" you mention are completely unreliable. Try again.
