maybe you should watch akademiks interview with the breakfast club and get the full context instead of a 30 second clip from a stream that was a few hours long that gave more depth. This makes about as much sense as LeBron James being mad at Power Forwards of the 70's like Elvin Hayes, Bob Mcadoo, Moses Malone and Spencer Hayward for not communicating info about the NBA to Power Forwards now but skipping past Charles Barkley, Charles Oakley, Kevin Garnett and Larry Johnson. He measured his retort to LL because he knows that he's messing with a heavyweight who is not only beloved by the Hip-Hop community but is well respected by most. Even his response to Russell Simmons is bullshit, because he never addresses anything that he said rather he just attacks his character. This is what an individual does when they have no intelligent rebuttal, they attack the person rather than the person's argument. The point is valid about communication between eras, but the level of disrespect he showed makes his point fall on deaf ears and serves to make him look like an ass.

Like I said communication is a key factor, but if you think old school artists have not been communicating with the younger generation of artists, I ask you to just take a look at your own life and review how many old heads in your family told you or gave you critical information and you was like whatever and still did your own thing.
