people underestimate Russell brand so much but he is honestly is such an eye opener of how god dam smart he is, you really wouldn't expect it at all

ikr? Same. But he's a genuinely real highly intelligent super kind guy. I highly recommend reading his bio Booky Wook. Don't let the title scare you off...it's a deeply honest and hilarious recounting of his life up to the point he got off drugs. The guy is INSANE....and somehow totally came through alive. And we're all lucky that's how it turned out. He's an international treasure.

I felt the same way about him! But I gave him a chance and fell in love with him!

He is one of the most eloquent people I've ever seen and heard!

He's a brilliant and funny man. He is a man of many vocabularies and expresses himself so well. He keeps you speechless. Great talent!

Very much true, but it is very much possible for someone like Russel to go from poor to rich and still learn that money isn't enough by itself. It is possible for rich people to relate to "normal" people without being a hypocrite.

Obviously everyone wants money for food shelter, transportation, health and a social life. but outside of what we would perhaps refer to as "needs" money doesn't provide a lot of happiness. It's not just rich people who say it, science shows it as well. If you are interested, look up hedonic treadmill on google. There is a lot of evidence to suggest that people quickly adapt to good fortune and find that it doesn't bring a long lasting happiness. (that's another thing to keep in mind, money can be used in many ways to bring in the moment happiness, but he's talking about long term contentment)

There is absolutely nobody like this guy, he's crazy in a good way lol
