Russ believed in himself before anyone ever did. If he's got people hating now, you can only imagine how it must have been when he first started. This is why I continue to strive everyday with my own Music. You just have to get started and keep moving forward. Eventually all those little steps begin to add up and the results will speak for themselves! Confidence mixed with ambition - Everything will fall in place.

This the thing. Drugs are always gonna be here whether legal or illegal. If rappers don't promote it in their music, people are still gonna use them since it's around them in their neighborhoods. I get where this guy is coming from but to tackle that issue, it's up to the parents to educate kids about not doing it. I been around coke, heroin, and crack before from the people I was around and I never tried any of it because I didn't want to be a druggie. If more kids felt like that then we'd have less drug problems.

Cause the music industry wants you to be influenced by the "gangster" rappers so you turn around and do what they sing about, get locked up and make them more money. The biggest music companies have close ties to private prison systems. Prisons that were designed specifically to be filled by people who listen to rap. Hence why the industry gets paid from the prisons. Shit's way deeper than most of y'all think. What do I know though, y'all just go get a few more face tats and sip that lean, see where you end up.

I got a new found Respect for this man...after this interview. ..Respect..from Chicago. ... back when I was growing up the early early 90s weed was the only thing kids were doing no pills no lean no of that... was fashionable Plus I came up in the era where my guys were Hustler's not drug users in the era where you had to write your own music to be considered an artist the era Ware you needed to have hot bars and Mega Punch lines... for people to feel you things have changed I'm honestly blessed to have made it to 37 years old I Scene The Hip Hop game go from positive messages to gangster 2 drug dealing now drug-using and I have to say that's wack stop poisoning the Youth Man stop promoting gun violence like it's cool ain't nothing cool about a young kid being killed and having his mother cry everyday...put the guns down...

@hardwork Pays Off but those rappers did not glorify the drugs, as a matter of fact they made them sound like they made you do things that you didn't want to do. Just because they spoke about it does not mean that they glorified it.

I been a RUSS fan before I knew who he was. Way before I watched a video. I finally watched a music video, and this interview. That just made me a bigger fan.

My nieces told me they were coming to Honolulu from the Big Island to watch this guy so I looked him up to see what they were listening to. I'm stoked to know it's this guy.
