People outside of the industry should know this.. businesses are always going to do anything to win. We’ve seen the president do it.. so music shouldn’t surprise anyone

They release the same track under multiple urls, but it's slightly different. It entices people who liked the song anyway to go and listen to these other versions of it, but when it goes to the Billboards, all versions are counted as one song. And sure, some of them probably do set up bot farms.
