They never came to my country, in almost half a century of existence, so I flew to North America (from Australia) three times just to see them. That's the type of dedication that band inspired in their fans...

I have seen you watch a few of Rush. This one is sensational. Three genius musicians on POINT, at all times. This is what a band with talent and experience do. Geddy , Keyboard, Vocals, Bass, Neil with his Orchestra and beautiful music from Alex.

I really don't know if that could EVER be topped!!! That performance is immortal in itself !!!

Wayne , it's either Zeppelin or Rush as the bands that do have the "Far and Away" songs . Both have big a rabbit hole . At this point you know Wayne. my favorite is Zeppelin. Rush a very "Close 2nd".. Another Awesome Reaction . Respect sir ..

Interesting the different interpretations of Kubla Khan! In college I had a take home final; had to interpret the poem and found I was drawn to listen to this... the references to words I'd sung along with. Had to sit in the car as it had my only cassette deck. My essay concluded that it is written from a poet's view of public misapprehention of his work, trying to distill what sets an artist apart from the norm ( gotta deviate). It was the lines where they make a white circle around him to contain him kinda like he's a witch. Poets philosophers and holy people all study the same themes of what are we, what separates man from animal, where do we go, etc. This is downright scary to the average. Coleridge feeling he was treated with that magic=nefarious & even evil kind of attitude. The prof liked it.

Rush can give you a lot to digest, especially in a song like this, but you did a great job thank you.

He’s actually playing the 12 string guitar at the end during Alex’s solo but the video cuts it off right at the waist. You can catch it for just a split second then the camera pans away! Be wel, my friend!

It’s is a 12 string on the bottom. I was corrected on this a while back. The Rickenbocker tuning keys are set up differently. It looks like 6 until you really see where the other keys are located. Unique design

This is a classic example of why I don't care for Rush in large doses.

Xanadu is a place where you find immortality but you end up cursed by immortality and escape the caves of ice that keep you there.
