I came to Tamworth this year to see the black 5 on a railtour to Chester and it’s been ages since I last came here

Agree 100%, one of the most modern yet interesting locos in the UK 😃

Very good variety here; Tamworth definitely worths a visit

Marston green is a good place to rec at there's loads of horns Good suggestion 👍

Lovely stuff as always. The 87 set looks lovely. Some seriously fast freight coming through too!

You do spoil us every week for some epic stuff. Wow, just....wow. A lot of variety and the InterCity Swallow has returned and looks epic especially back on its home territory along the West Coast Mainline :-)

Thanks for the kind words Ricky! I was even suprised by the variety myself, I had no idea there would be so much, it makes a change from pendolinos and 350s! 😃 Also, since its near your area, do you know whats happening with Cleethorpes TPE 68s? I thought they were meant to start this May 🤔

@@StarlifeStudios Well, they are still undergoing driver training duties between Longsight to Cleethorpes between Monday to Saturday's. Think they are either due to enter service by September or December timetable at the latest. They are using a light class 68 on loan from DRS on driver training duties between York and Scarborough. But, the 68's for TPE are on borrowed time until the new bio diesel class 93's are due to take over from them.

Interesting, many thanks for the insight. First Group haven’t yet mentioned who has won the bid for the 68 (and GWR 57) replacements but I suspect your right about the 93s. I suppose we should enjoy them whilst they’re here!

One of my favourite UK locations for spotting. Always action packed. Great video mate 👍

Great Video as usual mate, nice variety of trains, like the 43's by Colas and the train in the urban livery, lots of freight going to many different places, certainly an important station for the UK.

Amazing video mate I will deffo be going back to Tamworth one day to do a day of spotting also going to go to Stafford again but I'm in Birmingham next month for a event then will be doing some spotting but wondering which station would be good for a mixture of freight n passenger services anyway keep up the amazing work Ur doing

I hope to soon Andrew, I must be honest when I say that I find the line interesting but the rolling stock less so, I will be attempting to find an entertaining station along the new route within the next few weeks and this is most likely either Farringdon or Abbey Wood (due to the multiple operators) Thanks for your kind words 😃⭐️

Let me say this now Tamworth is my 2nd favourite station on the West Coast Mainline with the 1st one being Milton Keynes central

All Alstom delivery movements are managed by GBRF. Greater Anglia just so happens to be the unit being delivered. This is similar to the SWR 701s which are all driven by GBRF drivers at present.
