Rush hour Mile End London Underground trains, Central Line, westbound
The first part of this London Underground tube train video was filmed during morning rush hour, you can really see people clamoring onto the trains as they wanted to go into Central London.
Also how it became less busy as it got closer to 9am and more people needed to be at work by then and as I got to less busy parts of the platform.
The second half was done late afternoon when this platform was less busy because more people were wanting to go the other direction out of Central London.

Had to get off at Mile End a few weeks back and was shocked how quick i was on the Central straight after. (don't really go into london much)
Amazing! :) Mile End has always been my personal favourite as I feel it has a unique status on the Underground due to it being the only Direct Crossover Interchange between Central and Sub-Surface lines! Thanks very much for sharing👍💫.

That's a really good point! I should have filmed as people interchanged from the different lines, I will try and do that in a future video. Thank you so much for your kindness and I really appreciate what you do.

@@LondonUndergroundTubetrains Oh you'll see that a lot especially in peak hours, people running from one train to the other, I guess including myself ;) Pleaure is mine and I appreciate your kind words🙌.

Correction - Mile End is the only underground cross-platform. Met/Jubilee and Picc/District have cross-platform interchange, but only above ground.

@@bfapple That is indeed correct! Thank you for sharing :)
Watching the early part of this video reminded me why I learned to ride a motorbike. I really don't understand how people can travel like that day in, day out.

I love the tube but I totally understand where you're coming from.
Shocked the Elizabeth Line hasn't decreased the Central Line rush hour yet.

That's a good point! I guess it's because it doesn't cover all of the same places. What do you think?

Well people could go to Liverpool Street and take the Elizabeth line instead and Bond Street most likely so yeah it may not be that full on other days Edit:You could just take the Central line to Stratford for Heathrow and ppl can go to ealing so it isn’t expected to be that packed

Yes it definitely very busy but it’s easy to tell it’s nothing like pre covid😅 TfL still stay passengers are only 80% of 2019. Trains weren’t swallowing up platforms like this before!

That's very interesting. What implications do you think that has for the network?
The underground trains will come in the next station
How's the Elizabeth Line in handling the rush hour traffic? Pretty sure it was designed to relief the Central line

It's brilliant because it has lots of space and not everybody has got into the habit of using it yet. I like your point about the Central Line.
