I wish that solo by Alex continued longer. It was soo good but I think they ran out of space on the record. Great reaction. Looking forward to more from Rush.

God what a beautiful song. I saw them on the "Signals' tour, 1982 I believe. Golden Earring opened for them. Great times as a teen in Tucson, AZ.

If you really want to check out Geddy's lyric writing you should look at his solo album, My Favorite Headache. He's not a bad lyricist, but has often said in interviews he prefers writing the music.

Since you like this one so much, I'm sure you will love Entre Nous from this same album as well as Ghost of a Chance - There is a live version from the Snakes and Arrows tour. Nice reaction!

This natural science, and entre nous are some of my favorite rush songs. I’ve been a fan and seen them seven/eight times spanning four decades.

I just discovered this song and love everything about it. Alex's guitar work really stands out, and you can tell Geddy feels close to this song; I love his vocal. Geddy is actually a very good writer; he wrote a memoir last year called 'My Effin' Life.' Definitely worth a read (it's long!), or you could listen to the audiobook version, which Geddy reads himself (including in his mother's accent). Alex reads some parts, too.

This is a great song!! If you’re interested in Geddy’s lyric writing… he wrote all the lyrics on their 1st album “RUSH”! And he wrote them all within 48 hrs. (You can tell, he has matured… LOL)! I agree with those below… the only thing wrong with this song… ITS TOO SHORT!! Be well and God bless…. From Texas!!😅

I was surprised to find that Geddy wrote it instead of Neil. I can't decide if Neil is a poet who happens to be a world-class drummer or if it's the other way round.

Permanent Waves is a masterpiece. This was the last song Geddy wrote with the band. This was never performed live. Alex’s solo is too short. I just subscribed to your channel so I don’t know what Rush songs you have reacted to so forgive me if I list one that you have already done. Entre Nous, Losing It and Resist are some slower songs that you will enjoy. React to more Rush they have a huge fan base.
