    Odessa is a city in Ukraine that was established in the 14th century when the Tatar fortress of Khadzhibey was established there. The fortress was stormed by the Russians in 1789 and the territory ceded to Russia in 1792. In 1794 by a strategic decision of the Empress Catherine II made it Russian so yea Odessa was established in the 14th century by the Tatars and stollen by Russia in 1792. But like always the Russians like to spin history to suit.

    Zelensky NATO and other western allies have been successfully getting the Ukraine to self genocide. Supposedly circa 500,000 Ukrainian servicemen are dead. And many more are maimed. The conscription age in the Ukraine is now 18-60 years of age. As George Bush II said, "Misson Accomplished". The mission is being accomplished by the Russians on a nearly vanquished Ukrainian army.

    Almost all Ukrainian troops stationed on the border gave bribes to be in that "calm" area. It's the only way to avoid certain death or maiming in Zelenskyy army. Now they are in a state of utter panic. About 40 immediately surrendered to Russians others are simply fleeing their positions. Ukrainian army is only a pale shadow of itself at the beginning of the war in terms of personnel and equipment.

    US troops deployed to Ukraine to prop up Kiev in its conflict with Russia would end up being “wiped out,” former US Army officer Stanislav Krapivnik told RT on Thursday. The US military in its current state is not fit to take on Russia in a conventional war, Krapivnik argued. Even in the Cold War era, the whole of NATO would have only been able to slow down a potential advance of the Soviet bloc rather than launch an all-out ground assault against it, he said. - RT

    @@michaelkatz275 Ukraine lost 1 NATO-style army and 2 NATO-structured armies. They're now losing what's left of these, with not enough production in the entire Western world to replenish the equipment lost. Ukraine lost over 1,500,000 combatants either dead or permanently wounded, with no manpower reserves fit for further mobilization. Russia lost some 90,000 combatants dead and a few hundred thousand permanently wounded, and has over 1000 people volunteering for the army every day. Russia produces more shells, missiles and military machinery in 2 months than all of NATO does in a year. Why would anyone bet on NATO ?

  • @michaelkatz275

    @michaelkatz275

    22 күн бұрын

    @@ClassWarMatrix Exactly where did you source all of this bunkum and balderdash? From the Baba Yaga in the Kremlin Office of Psyop's? It is true that the Ukrainian offensive didn't go as well as expected, but they certianly did not lose three armies as you are suggesting, nor is there any indication they lost one and a half million dead or wounded. By the way, I am sure you will be pleased to know the Ukrainian government has passed a new mobilization law, and is increasing its man power. I would appreciate it if you could pass that little tidbit on to Vladimir for me. The Russian Ministry of Defense is not in the habit of letting the press or anyone else know exactly how many casualties they have suffered in this Special Military Operation. As a matter of fact they don't even know, as they could care less. The Russian MOD can always recruit more manpower from less privileged regions like Sub-Saharan Africa, Cuba, Syria, Nepal, or anywhere else where young men are willing to risk their lives for money in a questionable invasion of a sovereign state. This fact goes a long way in showing just how much support Vladimir Putin is garnering from the native population of Russia for this war. Few in the universities in Moscow want to sign up for this war, and go off to Ukraine for a possible quick death. The Russian government claims to produce a quarter of a million 152mm artillery shells monthly. Considering Moscow officials' tendency to inflate figures with some exaggeration, one can likely reduce their claimed amount by at least a quarter. The same is true with the production of other military equipment. It's important to recall the words of the renowned statesman and diplomat Otto Von Bismarck: "Don't trust the Russians. They don't even trust themselves," suggesting a perpetual inclination toward deception.

    The fact that this motorized regiment without much heavy gear was used is revealing. It confirms reports that Russia is no where close to introducing its “main force” into the region, which can come much later after Russia has tested the Ukrainian defenses, revealed their positions via recon-by-fire, and then softened them up with air strikes. Ukrainian military sources report that not only does Russia possibly have a much larger force it intends to introduce later, but another one is gathering in Sumy region as well: Well, almost exactly two months later, it looks like things are bearing fruit. I believe the current action is both multi-stage and longer term. That means you won’t see a flash-in-the-pan blitzkrieg or thunder-run, but rather a very methodical introduction of forces from the north at key points like turning the screws on a vise. Russia will likely see how Ukraine reacts to the Kharkov incursion, watch where it deploys its reserves, and act accordingly, with potential Sumy and/or Chernigov contingents to come in much later. Remember: the objectives right now are to degrade and destroy the AFU manpower, not to “capture territory”-that will all come as a natural secondary byproduct of its own. In the meantime, Russia is slowly degrading the logistics in the region: The northern incursion is in fact a pinning operation for now, but that’s not all it is. It’s part of the grand boa constrictor or ‘death by a thousand cuts’ strategy I’ve been describing for over a year now, and more resources will be poured constantly onto it until the trickle develops into a deluge. After that, it will be a fully formed front in its own right and Ukraine will have major problems choosing where to send reserves. In the meantime, the Avdeevka-Ocheretino axis is deteriorating fast, which is precisely why Russia decided to “turn the screws” some more: And by the way, today new gains were made on the Kupyansk front toward the town Pishchane, which reinforces the idea that soon this front may get more activated in accordance with the northern breach. Despite advance warning and accurate intel, Ukraine can do nothing about the events that are soon to come. This is a chess match and a numbers game; you can “know” full well the constrictor is tightening over your chest, but there will be little you can do about it. Ukraine will lack the means to respond to the constant swell of Russian troops and armaments on every single frontline, which will only stretch longer and longer as Russia potentially introduces new breaches into Sumy, Chernigov, and perhaps even elsewhere-some Russian channels are still trading rumors of a potential push from Belarus into Kiev region as eventual part of the now initiated cascade. Recall all the quotes from Ukrainian officers I recently posted wherein they admitted they don’t have the mobility to match Russian ‘whack-a-mole’ tactics. Russia can transfer units from one region to another and mesmerize the AFU with the ‘thousand cuts’ from every angle, and Ukraine simply doesn’t have the logistical infrastructure to keep up plugging each hole. The longer the front stretches, the worse this issue becomes. - Simplicius

    @@Jamicaman516 True, in Kharkiv in 2022, interestingly. However, that is totally different, and a lot has changed. When Russia invaded, they invaded with a force of an estimated 150,000 to 160,000. Compare that to when the US and NATO countries in invaded Iraq, they did so with 1 million troops, and Iraq had a population half the size as Ukraine did, a smaller military, and wasn't backed by anybody. After Russia retreated in Kharkiv and had a tactical withdraw from Kherson City, they decided to commit a massive amount of equipment and troops to Ukraine, though we don't know the exact number, as high as 800,000. Since that decision, Ukraine has lost every major battle. The fact of the matter is, Russias initial invaded with a force entirely too small. They believed that showing their mere willingness to invade would force NATO and Ukraine to adhere to the Minsk Agreements. So, your comment is correct, technically, but only technically.

    I take a different view on the cross-border raids by Ukraine. My different view is that the raids did not cause a new front to open. In my view the relatively quiet Northern border front was by Russian design. It was left relatively quiet so that it could be opened, either in part or in full, at a time and place(s) of Russia's choosing.

    It might help western diplomacy if they engaged with others and made requests and offered stuff rather than making demands under threat of sanctions and being targeted by military alliances. China must look at people like Macron and von der Leyen and ask 'who are these people who think they can tell us what to do?'.

    30:18 I am looking forward to when Russia advances on New York - I want to see if the Western press will have headlines such as 'Russia invades New York' and 'Russia captures New York'.

    Well the pro-Russianiks here have headlines about Russian invasions of Odessa---which they are about as likely to reach with "Boots on the Ground" as Mars or the Moon...

    Appreciate the analysis here, always seems to turn out Mr Mercouris was correct and reporting the truth of the matter. Easy to whip mainstream media, truthful reporting is coming back with a vengeance, because nobody likes being lied to constantly.

    Seems its going to be a fine line for Hungary to walk going forward being "a friend" to China and Russia and a member of NATO. Could Hungary possibly be the first country to leave NATO? Interesting times ahead.

    I haven't studied China, France, Serbia and Hungary as closely as you have. My 10 second instinct is China will bribe France as the linguistic / economic gateway of Chinese imports/exports to the EU. French citizens will get raw products and do translations to all EU languages for product inserts. Gaining France a few billion bucks a year. Hungary and Serbia are definitely neutral or possibly pro-Russian. Putin cannot go to Hungary and Serbia today so Xi Jingping is going as Putin's middleman. China will give Hungary and Serbia financial and political support on Russia's behalf.

    why would they waste money on that? They already do translations of EU languages in China. China's strategy is that both sides must win, You will gain and so will China. The whole Belt and Road initiative is based on that,
