Tony went on a two days trip in the rural area of Korea. She went to Dangjin, Taean and Seosan.
Below you have the activities that she did!
태안매화둠벙마을 (𝙏𝙖𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙚𝙝𝙬𝙖 𝘿𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙑𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙚 : It is a typical rural community with ecological surroundings and natural scenery that have been conserved.
They utilize sustainable farming practices to produce rice. In addition, it is an ecological town where rare and endangered species are protected, including gold frogs, late fireflies, and plum trees that grow above water.
Camping in the village allows visitors to participate in a variety of cultural activities, like rice growing, gathering potatoes or garlic, taking a Dumbeong ecological tour, threshing rice, constructing kites, cooking samgut, and many more!
Making steamed rice bread, straw crafts, and mud fishing were things we tried.
신평양조장 (𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙥𝙮𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙮): A renowned makgeolli (milky, off-white, and faintly sparkling rice wine) brewery has been producing this libation in the same location since 1933 for three generations.
If you enjoy makgeolli, you should think about scheduling a tour of their brewery! You may discover more about makgeolli, its origins, and the production process for this age-old alcoholic beverage.
황토7베리 (𝙃𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙤 7 𝘽𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨): Taean has a farm for rural education. In red clay fields, they cultivate seven varieties of berries, such as blueberries and mulberries, as well as pumpkins and sweet potatoes. Here, tourists can get a taste of Taean's history, culture, and ecosystem.
Here is where we learned how to create sweet rice puffs! The puffs were wonderful, and the event was a lot of fun.
회포마을 (𝙃𝙬𝙚𝙥𝙤 𝙑𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙚) : A community in Chungcheong-do's typical calm rural region. Pumpkins are one of their regional specialties.
