Drs should post photos of the early stages. Than medical drs can be ecucated of how to recognize it timely.

I've not heard anyone discuss this condition for those patients who also have incontinence, the wetness against the skin and the incontinence pad.

I have recently viewed another video where a Dr in America is performing stem cell therapy for LS. I think it is important to raise awareness for this horrible condition in order for Australia to be a part of this groundbreaking therapy.

What I noticed is that there are only photos online of severe cases. So no wonder that doctors do not recognize it untill it is severe ...

Further to the panel discussion, the specialists wished us to make the following points: Treatment of Lichen Sclerosis assists with the symptoms of the condition, but does not reduce the risk of vulval SCC Patients with Lichen Sclerosis should be closely monitored for SCC - 6-monthly review is recommended Any abnormal vulval lesions in a patient with Lichen Sclerosis should be referred to a Gynaecologist for biopsy and management - Lucy Ingram, Moderator

Management is smear clobetasol and wait for your genitalia to disappear or they just inform that you now have cancer. These doctors are useless.
