Scott needs a cigarette after this one!
Scott, I’ve learned so much from you over the years. I’m a retired baby-boomer who uses a walker. I with your help, keep my car immaculate. I don’t have a DA buffer/polisher. Doesn’t make sense for a two times a year user. You’ve done a great job with clay bar, interior how to’s. I would really appreciate a video on how to remove superficial scratches (clear coat). My car is black and you well know how they show any flaw. “Detailing your car on a budget.” A how to for people on a tight budget or physically challenged, I believe would be thankful. Link clay bar, interior, glass videos you’ve already done etc. into a series. Take care.
Never thought I'd see scott cracked out. Especially on Rupes 😲
Ssshh. Scott is having his moment. do not disturb.

LOL! Great answer.
Never seen you so giddy, hilarious. My wife just commented that I'm going to go buy that wool pad now. Lol smart girl. Thanks Scott I'm excited to see the results I get from it.
Thank you for your review Scott! Your check is in the mail.
I'll definitely be getting a few of these pads now! Thanks for the video Scott!
Thank you Scott. Crazy as ever! Gotta love you!
Excellent video Scott. What a help you are giving me pal.
Your enthusiasm is contagious😜
Now that looks fun. Another great video Scott.
great video again. I love those pads.ive been using lake country low lint wool pads 4 my long throw.thanks again
it's a real pleasure to see you in this mindset ;) ok ok you convince me, i'll get a try on this one. so thanks Rupes, and thank you Scott for your honesty as usual.
Scott, you are a champion of men. Also glad someone else likes wool pads and knows how to use them, thank you
When the bottle of polish falls down and rolls away.... Hahaha! Scott, thanks again for the review. I've has these pads recommended to me before.
😂😂😂 This must be the best feel good video of the year so far! 'Yee Haa'.
Hey Scott, great video! I can't wait to try this pad, thank you for sharing. I watched one of your older videos on the Greenworks 1500 Power Washer. On the video you mentioned Undercarriage Detailing. Do you have a video on this topic? If not, could you share your methods for us? Thank you for sharing all your knowledge with us Bud. Love ya.
Scott finally I've never seen you so happy ☺ even when you discovered super clean or other products believe this is going to make your jobs a lot easier great video take care of yourself it's really great to see you so happy ☺ my friend take care !
Love the enthusiasm 😂👍
Thank you, Scott ! :)
Love it!!! I've got a wool pad never used it! Its coming out on the weekend! Can't wait ;)
Awesome, really enjoy your videos
I would've loved to see Scott's neighbors reactions through this video. "Well Margaret, that Scott fellow has finally lost it" jk, thanks for sharing scott. Keep up the good work brother.
Is the Maxshine wool pad on the same level as this Rupes pad or completely different feel and result?
hi Scott I was wondering what ypu use to clean and protect convertible tops thanks love all your videos
Best title to this video you can put hahaha" scott goes crazy " Scott is like will stop someone passes thru there and let me polish your vehicle just for fun because i found my old best friend hahaha
Great video Scott! I think they problem with detailers today is they want instant Gratification and don’t have the patience to put in the work to achieve That flawless shine We are all chasing. And not to sound old but back in my day it didn’t matter if it took 10 steps to get that perfect deep glossy shine, we’d put in that work we were dedicated to the process because we weren’t satisfied until it truly was perfect! You my friend have that fire in you 💪🏼it’s nice to see someone go above and beyond in their research in order to prefect the process. You truly love what you do.
EASY PEASY!!! So glad I found this video and the other on DA polisher comparisons. Recently purchased a 6" LTDA polisher on Amazon for about $80. I have a 2022 Subaru Outback sold new in December 2021, which was new to me in June (it was a dealer-loaner vehicle). It was time to put a wax job on the car, and I started watching videos on pads . . . all of which is rather confusing to someone who isn't really interested in actual paint "correction", but in keeping the paint/clear coat in good shape to begin with. Ordered a couple of the Rupes wool polishers and waited for today's cloudy morning. After getting the car washed, I was able to wax all but the roof (the sun had just broken through) in about an hour with a light application of Meguiar's Ultimate liquid wax. The result was just what I was looking for! Completely slick finish -- the difference was immediately noticeable between a polished panel and the next one to be polished -- with plenty of shine. Next up . . . my wife's 2018 Subaru Forester.
Scott you rock! I agree 100% I have been detailing cars for 26 years and the only machine I have ever used is a variable speed Makita rotary. You can feel it just as you say there is a sweet spot and you are making love to the paint.
subbed and watched a bunch of your vids and wanted to say thanks for all the knowledge and insight! Would I expect to see any type of results if I used this pad with a short throw Griot DA?
Great information and video is on point 👍🏻
now i know what scott does to his long lost friends. 😂 Appreciate you sharing your passion with us scott! getting one of those asap! :)
Nice video! How do you clean this wool pad after you're done polishing a car?
Will this pad work with flex 3401 ? Also what’s the best way to clean the pad between passes, compressed air?
When we use our hearts in to anything we do God will always reward us with joy, enjoy his joy and the hard work this man shows us. God bless you brother and I always laugh and enjoy your videos thank you for sharing with us your technique and your zeal towards detailing and paint correction. God bless you my friend !!
Hey scott. Can u one step with this pad like with perfect finish or something else? And what about a aio product? Or u still need to do a 2step after this? Ty scott for these amazing videos !
What level of paint correction would this be appropriate for when considering least aggressive method to get the job done? Thanks.
Would this pad be good on the Harbor Freight DA? Or do I have to go buy a long throw polisher such as the max shine?
Fantastic working the sweet spot. So to speak and you shared that. Awesome you are. For all the info on your vid’s Not just the super one about the. Rupes pads and how fantastic they are. A thousand thank you’s
Wow ! So fast and fun. I wonder how it would work with HD SPEED? My current favorite. Where’s the best site to purchase and what sizes they come in?
Hey scott how are you? What speed should we be using for each stage. Compound - polish - wax and sealent or all in one? Aswell what brand do you recommend for a heavy cut compound? Thank you!
How would the wool pad work with a one step like HD speed, or is this pad only for a first step in a 2 step process?
I like all of Rupes pads. So far I really like my recently purchased Rupes LHR15 mark III polisher. I do agree that wool pads are for more productive without all of the heat buildup
Scott, what speeds are you cutting at? Spread the product around on 3, then you ramp it to what? Sounds like 5? Is that correct? Thanks for the great video!!!
This may be a dumb question but how many pads of a single type are you using to complete say a large truck? I find the foam hex logic pads stink and show signs of collapsing
*Scott, something funny I just bought the last one listed on Amazon 5.75" within one hour from you posting this.*
Scott, I have large dings and scratches in the white painted plastic/rubber door trim. Any recommendations on a fix?
Scott this is good with a forced rotation like flex 3401?
I’m new to wool pads, can you use wool to apply compound, polish and waxes? Or are they used for only certain applications?
Scott I love your videos! Do you still feel the same way about this wool pad 2 years later?
Hey Scott - will this be ok on a Griots machine? Great, great video!
Hey Scott will these work Ok with a porter cable? I haven't bought a long throw yet.
Thanks for the info.
We love you Scott.
My question is what wool pad should I use for my 2010 Camaro. I am not sure how hard the clear coat is. Should I go with the aggressive wool (blue pad) or just medium yellow. My car doesn't have deep scratches. I am not expert in buffing but have experience working with 7 inch rotary polishers. Thank you for your help.
Such a passion in what you do. Outstanding video. Thanks for sharing all you do... Will it work ok with an 8mm throw? What speed?

Guess he did not like my smoke comment.
I think Scott may need a moment alone! Boooooom! Great vid
Scott do you use a spur to clean or fluff the pad
Hello Scott, What are your thoughts on using this pad with sonax cutmax as a first step, then use rupes yellow foam pad with perfect finish as a second step on soft/medium paint? Thanks in advance ☺️
Hi Scott, how would you compare this pad to the rupes coarse wool pad(BLUE)?
Now going to pick these up for next summer on my ride after the new england winter.
Hey Scott, how would the wool pad perform on a one step?
Sorry I'm new to detailing, but can wool pads be used to finish or are they more for cutting?
Which polisher do you recommend to use with this pad?
Mr dallas how many wool pads do I use to correct the paint on my car with a D/A will it b the same as with foam pads or would I need less pads
Easy to please give you a good pad and you will definitely be busy. I like your drive and thanks for this tip.😎
Hey Scott do you think you can make a video of different types and styles of pads and if there is any difference between them all?

Wow. I'll definitely need to try these out. I can only imagine how quickly you can get around a car during an AIO polish.
Scott how is the vibration of these pads on a long throw machine? I do not do detailing for a living. When I do paint correction, the vibration of the machine (griots garage) kills my hands. I deliver bottle water for a living, and its way easier on the arms and hands than paint correction with a da. I find it silly since I move 8-10k pounds of product every day.
Hi Scott how do you prime rupes wool pad is it the same as a microfiber pad?
Hi. How well does the Meguiars ultimate compound work with the wool pad?
Just bought one Scott can I use it with griots 6 inch or do you need a long throw
Greatest explanation ever 👍
I bought that pad today just cause of this vid and used it with 3d speed but the pad was a tad bit grabby on the paint, did I not use enough polish?
Scott- What should use to correct paint on 2015 Toyota 4Runner?
Do you need to put paint protection after?
This is the exact reason I use for the last couple of months the Flexipads ProWool pads
Better than meguires cutting disc ? & is this wool pad only used for compound ? Can it be used for polish aswell ??!
Your comparison about the standard shift is a good analogy.
What are thoughts on how to cleaning these pads
Do you still need a high speed like a Dewalt or does this replace it?
Have you tried the "Lake Country Pre-Washed Low Lint Lambswool Pads" yet? If not, could you and give us your comparison thoughts?
It seems to be great stuff Scott ❤
I use wool pads in rotary for paint polishing this awesome wool pads look great I can wait get one
Scott, you have officially gone off the deep end but you know what you convinced me! I'm coming with you. LOL great video
Hey Scott. Does it still work well with a short throw DA? Nice video btw. I love how excited you were.
Wonder if this will work as well on a 3402 flex? Shorter throw.
How do you clean the wool pads?
So I can use this on my lhr15 mk2? Doesn’t have to be used with forced rotation Mille and Mille polishes?
Only crazy people like us get excited over DA pads! I bought a few and I have to say, I am loving them also!!!!!!!! Thanks for the heads up on these! These have a little drag compared to foam pads but they are so much more fun and do produce more shine than a orange lake country foam pad. Possibly a little better cutting also from what I can tell on my black Camaro.
Scott - You are a trip!! "make love to your paint..." Question: What makes this pad better / different than other wool pads?? Keep the videos coming.
Does this Rupes pad cut heavy oxidation or super heavy oxidation.
Whats the links for what you are using in the video?
How about a link to it please ! Love the Videos.
Where is the best place to buy compound and polishing pads for a good price?
just curious , would these pads work on a makita rotaty?
I need one that is great for heavy cutting for paint.
SCOTT you've gone bat shit crazy!😨 and I love it😄☝️🤙👍
I was just thinking, can you please make a video on how you do your decontamination and strip wash? Do you foam on your purple power vehicle wash?
