Scott, I’ve learned so much from you over the years. I’m a retired baby-boomer who uses a walker. I with your help, keep my car immaculate. I don’t have a DA buffer/polisher. Doesn’t make sense for a two times a year user. You’ve done a great job with clay bar, interior how to’s. I would really appreciate a video on how to remove superficial scratches (clear coat). My car is black and you well know how they show any flaw. “Detailing your car on a budget.” A how to for people on a tight budget or physically challenged, I believe would be thankful. Link clay bar, interior, glass videos you’ve already done etc. into a series. Take care.

Great video Scott! I think they problem with detailers today is they want instant Gratification and don’t have the patience to put in the work to achieve That flawless shine We are all chasing. And not to sound old but back in my day it didn’t matter if it took 10 steps to get that perfect deep glossy shine, we’d put in that work we were dedicated to the process because we weren’t satisfied until it truly was perfect! You my friend have that fire in you 💪🏼it’s nice to see someone go above and beyond in their research in order to prefect the process. You truly love what you do.

EASY PEASY!!! So glad I found this video and the other on DA polisher comparisons. Recently purchased a 6" LTDA polisher on Amazon for about $80. I have a 2022 Subaru Outback sold new in December 2021, which was new to me in June (it was a dealer-loaner vehicle). It was time to put a wax job on the car, and I started watching videos on pads . . . all of which is rather confusing to someone who isn't really interested in actual paint "correction", but in keeping the paint/clear coat in good shape to begin with. Ordered a couple of the Rupes wool polishers and waited for today's cloudy morning. After getting the car washed, I was able to wax all but the roof (the sun had just broken through) in about an hour with a light application of Meguiar's Ultimate liquid wax. The result was just what I was looking for! Completely slick finish -- the difference was immediately noticeable between a polished panel and the next one to be polished -- with plenty of shine. Next up . . . my wife's 2018 Subaru Forester.

Scott how is the vibration of these pads on a long throw machine? I do not do detailing for a living. When I do paint correction, the vibration of the machine (griots garage) kills my hands. I deliver bottle water for a living, and its way easier on the arms and hands than paint correction with a da. I find it silly since I move 8-10k pounds of product every day.

Possibly a little better cutting also from what I can tell on my black Camaro.
