@@ezekel.4656 When did you take it? The test changed in 2014 and became more challenging. The GED is normed so that 40% of graduating high school seniors could not pass it. I am so proud of you Drew! You have overcome so much in your life. I think it's awesome that you're going to get your GED. I went back to school at 48 and graduated (with honors) with an Associate's degree at 50. Unfortunately it didn't help me any as my school was unaccredited and it left me with loads of student loan debt, but I did it and did it well. I'm still proud of myself!!

I can not tell you enough how much watching your show touches my heart. I've always liked you as an actress but now that I watch your show and I see different interviews on KZread of your self and your past I am honestly amazed at all you've overcame and accomplished in your life. I was a troubled teen and adult and I finally found the path to a positive life. I used to blame my mother for a lot of my life as you did but over time I let that go and I am glad because she passed a few years ago and I would never have been able to live with myself if she would have gone to heaven without knowing how much I loved her and that I finally understood the reasons behind her actions. I am now a mother and a wife and I see it's not easy and hard choices have to be made. I just want you to know that I am truly so grateful for you because I finally have a role model to look to. I dropped out of school at age 16. I had a ninth grade education for many years. In 2007 I went and I earned my GED, it's not easy let me tell you. In 2018 I went and earned my Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. My career now has nothing to do with my degree but, the fact that I earned them both makes me feel like a better parent because I showed my children its okay to mess up as long as you learn from it. PLEASE DO NOT EVER STOP BEING YOU. 😍😍

In a brand new grocery store, I was there when it opened, a cashier technically but whatever they asked, I'd go in at 4am to stock, worked lottery, cashed paychecks, snowbirds wanting $ for expired food etc.Assistant mgr asked what my major was. I'm a dropout after completing the 10th grade. His face was shocked. "You seem so smart!' I AM smart!! You don't need a piece of paper to make you smart. He told me he & the manager wanted me to be a manager. I cashed their paychecks, knowing the hours they worked? 🤔

Got my GED at 23 or 24, after years of outring it off! I just turned 41 and I have approximately two years of college credits, but I feel lost and like I'll never attain a college degree. Then, what do I do at 40-something!!!??

You got this, Drew! I did it when I was 19, I didn’t have any educational career from K-12. Somehow, I passed. I wish you the best on your journey.

My husband dropped out of high school at 16, got his GED in his twenties and then got his JD in his thirties. He became a top corporate attorney. It’s never too late. 👩‍🎓
