What I love about Elvira is Cassandra. Her positivity always comes through. She is so cool and sunny at the same time. Elvira should never hang it up.

Cassandra Peterson is a legend. The amount of seed spilled by teenage boys to Elvira is... immeasurable. I watched the pilot episode of her sitcom today. It was cheesy but funny. Good ol' light entertainment. Shame it didn't get picked up by the network.

'Elvira Mistress of the Dark' is a hilarious movie! I haven't seen it in decades but I remember lots from it.

Mama Ru and Mama B👀 They both look grrr8 in or out of make up. Nice interview. Could you imagine them driving around in a convertible in costume. Like into Wong Foo. Hey that would be an awesome part 2 for both another Ru Paul Drives and another movie.

Elvira: Mistress of the Dark is one of my favorite movies ever, whenever someone asks me how my head is I immediately say, "I haven't had any complaints yet!" Also that tassel twirling rap scene is the best ending ever.

She was great at Knott's. I'm glad I finally got the chance to meet her.

I can appreciate why Ru would say her movie is in his Top 5. I haven't seen it since it came out, nearly 30 years ago, but have just watched it twice this past week. It's held up extremely well. It somehow manages to stay wholesome and naughty at the same time.

I wonder if she'll pass the torch onto another lucky foxy lady, who will don the hair and costume. As long as Cassandra is still in it...she will certainly always be the definitive Elvira. After interviewing her myself two or three times...she's still SEXY and such a flirt and a sweetheart.

It's a bummer that Elvira had to forgo Halloween with her daughter for her career. But if it is any consolation, I would spend Halloween after Halloween bonding with my mother watching Elvira and all the Halloween movies in the '90s. Between Ru and Elvira, and to be honest that gorgeous red Volvo, all my childhood dreams are all packaged up beautifully in this video.
