Max’s escape from Vecna is not only the best ST scene (IMO) but one of the best in any tv show ever. So much symbolism, beauty, drama and other emotions I felt during her sprint to freedom from the UD and finding a way back to Lucas.

Because I have been fan of the original one by Kate Bush, and I have listened to most of the covers on KZread (at least whatever I could find). Glad this song is still alive and it feels the same as the first time when I listened to the Original one! It’s an anthem. 🤍

the impact of all the different versions is just, i don't know how to explain it. the best version is the one in "the piggyback" when el is fighting vecna, nancy, robin and steve are attacking vecna, eddie is fighting the bats and hop fighting the demogorgon

Never saw the show before, but I can't help noticing the emotional reactions of the viewers. It's piqued my curiosity.

After several years I had literal multiple chills throughout the music while listening to a music. So beautiful, so powerful!

Thanks for posting this. Really contextualized the song for me and now I listen to it a lot because I feel Max's pain. And this musical integration with score was superb in the episode. That Sadie Sink grew a lot as an actress between the three seasons she's been on so far and The Whale. She looks kinda like a young Emily Blunt as well. Great, great episode, great piece of music.
