Fantastic video! I'll say that guitars are also equally human as steam engines. The perfect combination.

those 621/721 trains that retired in 2007 would've been sold off for scrap but paterson rail motor society bought them

3801 and 3642 were in Tandem formation(33:34). To be in Double-Header formation, 3801 would be the lead engine while 3642 would be at the back of the train.

51:05 CPH 1 & 7 "Tin Hares" were the only contribution that the Rail Motor Society could make at the time, but in 20 years they'd get their hands on 621/721 as well as 629/729 as these rail motors get replaced by newer Endeavour and Hunter-class rail motors.

36:50 The rail motor in the peripheral view(right of screen) was of the 620/720-class that, at time of filming, was still in regular service as a commuter train. The class was retired in 2007, just 20 years later and, after being restored and refurbished by the Paterson-based Rail Motor Society, would become a regular exhibit at Steamfest.

@@travelingman2664 The way you've got that comment written, it looks like *I* replaced the loco-hauled passenger trains. Perhaps you should edit your comment and rephrase it.

@@travelingman2664 Yeah, but after two cancellations(2020 and 2021), numbers might be down on when the event was last staged in 2019. And also given that this year's event has been bumped back to 30th and 31st July due to the weather we've had through March. Ironically, the day I went to Maitland to do my last video, it would've been Day 2 of Steamfest and the weather was perfect for it! Ach aye, ye jest cannae pick it, can ye?(my Scots ancestry coming out again! LOL).
