Well, it depends on what and how you hit it. I have the 94166 version (older, more like a 1:8 design). For regular riding on gravel, sand, clay or asphalt, it's great. It's quite difficult on grass (depending on its height) because the engine can overheat because of extra hard work. It is absolutely not suitable for jumping. Dogbones are quite soft and they can bend easily during jump. The engine Vertex VX-18 is a great unit for learning nitro. I started my adventure with him and he behaved in a bookish way
