Running Hot & Cold Water to the Outdoor Kitchen
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
I decided I wanted both hot and cold water in the outdoor kitchen. I need to run the water about 50'ft from the house. To achieve this, I decided to use pex within a conduit. For the connection out of the house, I used 1/2" copper with a blow-out volve.

Great video Sir... learn a lot from it. Definitely worth a follow.
The pvc pipes where you connected the copper lines to the pex waterlines, did you cover it somehow? I can see rodents going in there.

I cut a piece of hardware cloth to fit the opening and made holes for the pipes. This was enough to keep rodents out.
How many 45 degree turns did you have? If I use the same method. will I be able to pull the pex straight through with 3 45 degree turns?

You should be fine. I had 2 45 elbows at each end to make the 90 degree turns and then I had two 45 degree elbow along the run. If you really want to be sure, you could run 4” pipe.
I need to put in a drain for my outdoor kitchen. Do you have a video?

Hi! Here is the video where I show how I plumbed the outdoor kitchen drain. kzread.info/dash/bejne/la6Gk7KrZta4mbQ.html
When you ran the 3 inch pipe in the ground, did you use 45 degree elbows to be able to pull the pex through easier?

Yes, that is exactly what I did. Even with 3in pipe, the pex would have been difficult to pull with 90 degree elbows
why did you use copper at all?

Good question. We have a lot of rodents around here and wanted the portion exposed to be more rodent proof. Also, I felt like the copper looked a little bit better than pex coming out of the house.
