Running Commentary Technique

This is a focussing technique that brings together the mind and the body into present time awareness via the voice. This is incredibly useful for slowing down racing thoughts, and settling back into a grounded sense of the body. If you suffer from any fight or flight related symptoms like: anxiety, tinnitus, aches and pains, digestive upsets, obsessive thoughts, sleeplessness, dizziness, restlessness, and so on, then this may well help you relax, slow down and let go. Sometimes you can drop into a deep state of calm spacious stillness practicing this which is wonderful.
