    ..... WOW ! What a band of GIANTS !!! Frankie TRUMBAUER was one of the EARLIEST IMPROVISING Bassoonists, 1920's-30's. He is rarely heard, appreciated, noticed or recognized for his massive contribution to the insrument.. Thanks for posting this historic Bassoon jewel. 500,000 stars.

    Bassoon - Frankie Trumbauer; Guitar - Eddie Lang; Leader - Joe Venuti; Piano - Lennie Hayton; Saxophone [Alto] - Frankie Trumbauer; Violin - Joe Venuti; Written By - Bamboozlin' The Bassoon New York, 18 October, 1929 Not sure about the saxophone. I've read that a few of Tram's 'C melody' solos were on alto. He could double on just about anything with a reed.
